This appointment is effective 12 October 1994. Your monthly salary is R2500,00 per month and will be subject to automatic deductions of PAYE and UIF. Your salary is @ confidential matter and must please not be discussed with any other employee. The Company offers membership to both the Medical Aid and Pension Fund Schemes. Subscriptions to the Tafetberg Medical Aid Society will be subsidised by 50% and contributions to the Pension Fund will be 6% of your gross monthly salary. Membership to both schemes will be compulsory. | would also like to advise that the Company's retirement age is 60 (sixty) years. Your monthly salary of R2500,00 will include 10 hours per month guaranteed overtime. You will be working a six (6) day - forty-five (45) hour week. The retail trade is one of fluctuating demands. it is therefore necessary that you accept, as acondition of your employment, that you may be required to work overtime, should the Company deem this necessary. For the same reason you will be required to work shifts when necessary. Your employment with Pick 'n Pay is subject toa three (3) month probation period. During the first month, twenty-four (24) hours notice by either party will be accepted as termination of service. Thereafter, this is subject to two {2) weeks notice. The probation period is a time of mutual assessment and regular appraisals will be held. Once you have successfully completed your probationary period, your salary will be reviewed. You are entitled to eighteen (18) working days leave per annum, plus two (2) days extra. This falls due to you after completing one (1) year's service and must be taken within the next year.
