Being ruthless in idemtfying and eliminating wastage in your business, particularly wages and service area wastage. My first problem was when a weedeater which I had bought did not seem to work properly. I took it to the Constantia Village shop and was helped by Raymond Amon who sorted out the problem in a most friendly, patient and efficient manner. He showed me how to insert a new reel, and explained the workings of the weedeater to me. | have not had a problem since! 'n December | did a big Christmas shop for the medical practice for which | work, and was helped by Mr. Dirk Coetzee. He too, was most efficient and friendly and ordered extra tins of biscuits for me as the store was out of stock. I mentioned to him that ! was not looking forward to wrapping all these gifts of wine, chocoloates and biscuits and to my amazement he offered that the staff would do this for me. I was surprised to find the wrapped gifts delivered to the medical practice within 2 hours of purchase. | would also like to thank the staff members who wrapped all the gifts - (names unknown), Just last week | had my daughters 21* birthday, and not being very familiar with catering for a large crowd, | spent much time in the store speaking to theStaff at the deli, bread, meat, and fish counters, These staff members were most helpful and offered good sound advice on products and on quantities to buy. | unfortunately do not know them ail by name, but a big thank you to all of them. They all helped contribute to a successful 21" birthday. | have shopped in many Pick ‘n Pay stores in the past and have never come across this kind of helpful service before.
