Here is the answer, about the Mothers of the Believers (RA). The Prophet had 12 wives. But do we know

All were Muslims except for two, Safiyah (RA) who was a Jew and Maria (RA) who was a Christian. Only
Aaishah (RA) was a virgin, rest of them were either widows or divorced.
Now let us answer the main and very important question: Was it lust that caused Prophet (SAW) to have
multiple marriages? To answer this question, we have to mention the following facts:
 The Prophet (SAW) married for the first time when he was 25. Too old for someone who is driven
by lust.
 The first woman he married, Khadijah (RA) was 40 years old, already married twice before and had
children. He stayed married to her alone for 25 years until her death. He then stayed single for two
years in grief and mourning over her death. He was then 52 years old.
 From 52 till 60, he married several times for political and social reasons. After two years of living
single, he married Sawdah (RA), an 80 year old widow in order to honor her because she was the
first widow in Islam. Not an act of a lustful man after a long period of single life.
It is not logical to say that lust had appeared suddenly at the Prophet’s (SAW) life at 52 – at the middle of the
fierce physical and psychological struggle to spread Islam. Muhammad (SAW) was not the only polygamist.
Polygamy was the norm at the times of Prophet Ibrahim, Dawud, Sulaiman (AS) according to the Bible.
Now let’s mention the political, social and religious reasons why the Prophet (SAW) had these marriages.

Verdicts: Urinate Standing
This is based on the Hadith of Huzaifah (RA) who said: “I
was with the Prophet (SAW) and he stopped at the
Subatah (A place where dust and dirt are thrown) and
urinated in a standing position, so I withdrew, but he
said: ‘Approach’. So I approached until I was standing at
his heels, then he performed Wudhoo and wiped over
his private parts.” This is an authentic Hadith.
 As for all the Hadith which prohibit urinating in
a standing position, they are all weak and may
not be cited as evidence.
 And as for the Hadith of Aaishah (RA) who said:
“If anybody said that the Messenger of Allah
(SAW) urinated in a standing position, do not
believe him. I saw him urinating in a sitting
position.” And it is reported on the authority of
Aaishah (RA) that she said: “The Messenger of
Allah (SAW) did not urinate in a standing
position from the time when the Qur’an was
revealed to him.” This is an authentic hadith.
 Al Haifiz Ibn Hajar said: “The reply to the Hadith
of Aaishah (RA) is that it is based on her
knowledge and therefore depends on what he
did indoors. As for what he did outdoors, she
didn’t observe what he did there. There he was
observed by Huzaifah (RA), who was one of the
leading Companions (RA), and we have
explained that this was in Al Madinah, so it
contains a reply to her claim that he didn’t
urinate in a standing position from the time of
the revelation of the Qur’an. And it has been
confirmed from Umar, Ali, Zaid Ibn Thabit and
others (RA) that they urinated in a standing
position, which is a proof of permissibility, and
it is not disliked, so long as there is no splatter
(on the body or clothing) and Allah knows the
best.”
The beings which we refer to as ‘Spirits’ actually have many names throughout all cultures
of the world - such as Tengu, Naga, Anunnaki, Jinn, Genie, etc. The word ‘Genius’ comes
from ‘Genie’. Genie means ‘Guiding spirit’ in Latin. Thus Genie means the one with the
guiding spirit or the one who is possessed. These beings were created from the elements
‘Fire’ and ‘Air’ such as we are created from the opposites ‘Water’ and ‘Earth’ i.e. they were
created from heated gas.
“And the Jinn He made from a smokeless flame of Fire [Surah-Ar Rahman: Ch 55: Ver 15]”
They have different colours like us. Just like we drink water and eat things from Earth, they
also drink heat and eat things from air (usually bad smells of left over food). Once a person
gets scared, they radiate heat and these beings feed on that fear. They live in the anti-
reality of ours. Just like every particle has its anti, every human being has its counter part
from these spirits.
“Allah’s Apostle (SAW) said: There is none amongst you with who is not an attaché from
among the Jinn (Devil)” [Sahih Muslim: Hadith 6757]
These beings are present on the fourth dimension. Almost every culture depicted them as
being ‘Serpent’ like. In fact, they are the beings we now call as ‘Dragons’, though they are
not gigantic as the stories tell. Their looks are somewhere between a snake and a Dog
(hence the Dragon Image).
“The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: The Jinn are of three types: a type that has Wings,
and they fly through air, a type that looks like Snakes and Dogs, and a type that stops its
rest and resumes its Journey” [Mushkil Al Athaar 4/95]
These beings have male characteristics as opposed to human beings. Thus, also being our
counterparts, they have the ability to ‘Penetrate’ us, which is something we now refer as
‘Possession’. They come from an obvious portal gate and get in touch with people, the
naïve and confused. Many famous artists were involved in ‘Spirit Worshipping’, hence the
term ‘Fairy of Inspiration’. All those ‘great minds’ were actually possessed people. These
spirits can possess people without intention, without knowing, and disturb them in their
dreams or infiltrate into their houses. One example of this is ‘Sleep Paralysis’. Spirits lived
long time before on Earth. Once we came to be, they were cast into the oceans, deserts,
mountains and deep forests. This is the reason why they don’t really like us. Since the
beginning of history, some people ignored the laws of God and contacted these beings.
Although the effort was mutual, they introduced themselves as Gods or parts of divine
consciousness, forcing people to worship them. Making them prepare human sacrifices for
them. In turn they would help their followers for worldly gains like power, fame, money,
etc.
They can manifest themselves in our third dimension. Like us, they have freedom of choice,
different cultures, religion, nations, and ways and means. But the greatest groups of them
are ruled by Lucifer, ‘the great Dragon of Light’.

Pearls of the Prophet (S.A.W)

Do not envy one another, nor expose one another, nor be angry with one another, nor be disparate from one another, nor let one sell
what belongs to one another. Be slaves of God, in brotherhood. A Muslim is a Muslim’s brother. He does not wrong him, abandon him, or
mock him. Piety is here.” And Prophet (SAW) pointed to his chest three times, “It is enough for a man to mock his Muslim brother. The
blood, property and honor are inviolable by all others.”

Firstly, Aaishah (RA) was the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the daily life of the Muslim and how it was lived by the Prophet (SAW).
Her young age and intellect was a great advantage and numerous Hadith have been reported by her. The desert climate also caused early puberty
for which the Prophet could marry her at 9. Young marriages were also norms in Rome and Persia. Next, Prophet (SAW) wanted to strengthen
relations with his Companions (RA) for which he married Abu Bakr’s (RA) daughter and Omar’s (RA) sister. Moreover, Prophet (SAW) honored the
early Muslim divorcees and widows by marrying them. Sawdah, Om Salamah and Habeebah (RA) were widows. Prophet (SAW) was also a role
model for those who newly accepted Islam. He married Safiyah (RA) after her father, a Jew, embraced Islam, so giving him and his daughter the
honor amongst his people. Lastly, he wanted to increase ties with different nations for which he married Maria (RA) (strengthening relations with
Egypt). May Allah bless them all – Ameen.
