General admission procedure:

1. The Parent/Guardian collects the Admission Pack that includes among other
things the admission form, policy and curriculum.

2. In the Pre Primary Section, admission is open to Class Pre-Nursery and Class
Nursery only. (Limited seats available in Classes Prep, I and II). Age for
admission to Pre-Nursery is 2 1/2 years and above. Here our emphasis is not
so much on a childs written abilities but on activity based learning. The
students of this age may register without being subject to any testing.

3. The date on which the student has to take the test is mentioned.

4. Complete documentation is provided to the Office by the Parent/Guardian


which includes

6. 2 passport size photographs
7. Previous schools exam report
8. A photocopy of the birth certificate

9. Once the test is cleared an interview is taken. Both parents should be present
at the time of the interview.

10. A letter of acceptance for the child is given to the Parent/Guardian to sign.

11. Once the interview is cleared a Fee Voucher is given to the Parent/Guardian.
A copy of paid fee chalan is to be submitted within a week of the admission of
the student.

12. Kindly note the above steps are the general admission procedure. Campus
specific admission instructions may be obtained by contacting the relevant
branches.

School fee should be paid in advance by the 10th of each month. After this date a late payment fine will be charged.
If the school dues are not paid within two months, the name of the student will be struck off the rolls. Re-admission, though not
guaranteed, may be allowed on payment of one months tuition fee plus the amount of the arrears due and the late payment fine.
The school reserves the right to change, review and increase tuition fees and other fees without prior notice or consent of the
parents.

CODE OF CONDUCT
At Happy Home School our mission is to provide a disciplined, caring and stimulating environment where
students achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, physical, moral and spiritual development. A
code of conduct is devised to be followed by the students.
The salient features of the code of conduct are as follows:
School Timings must be strictly followed.
Assembly is an important event of the day where important announcements are made. Students must attend
the assembly.
Attendance: 90% attendance must be ensured. In case the attendance is short the student will be stopped
from appearing in the External Board / CIE Examinations.
Uniform: Students are expected to follow the dress code strictly, details of which are given in the syllabus
booklet. Three warnings will be given for improper uniform after which the child will be sent home until
proper uniform is arranged.
Please note that NO REFUND will be given once the admission is finalized.
Mobile phone or any music/ electronic device being brought to school is strictly prohibited. These items
will be confiscated and will only be returned to the parents after an assurance that the child will never bring it
again and on payment of fine.
Scribbling, writing or throwing ink on the walls, breaking of any classroom fixture or furniture is an
act of vandalism. Any child found guilty of any such act is liable for suspension. In addition, the cost of
repairs will be charged to the student.
Each child is expected to have his/her text and exercise books and the required stationery.
Fighting or bullying in the classrooms, ground, anywhere inside the school premises or outside the school,
during recess or at any time, is considered to be a serious offence which may result in suspension or even
expulsion from school.
Discipline: Cases of breach of discipline will be handled strictly and the decision of the Principal will be
final & binding on students & their parents. Two written warnings will be given prior to expulsion but if the
nature of indisciplinary activity deems fit, the child may be expelled without any warning
. Examinations/ Tests: It is mandatory for all students to take examinations and tests on the specified dates as
these will not be re-taken. Cheating in exams or tests is considered a serious breach of discipline. Any
student found using unfair means will be given a Zero in the subject.
Parent-Teacher Meeting: Parents should ensure their attendance at the meeting. Meeting time is limited
which should be observed. However, if the parent or the teacher feels the need, a special meeting may be
scheduled at any time during the academic year.
Deposit of School Fees. Fee challans are given before the 1st of every month. Fees must be paid by the 10th
of the month. The photocopy of the bank receipt must be produced if the child's name appears in the
Defaulters List. In case of two months default, the child is liable to be removed from the school rolls.
Fee Concession: No concession will be given on account of having siblings being present in the same school
or system.
Withdrawals: The parent undertakes to give a one months notice in case of withdrawals or one months fee
in lieu of notice.
Following the above mentioned rules is mandatory. It will help in maintaining a safe environment in the
school. Your support, constructive criticism and suggestions will help us in achieving our goals.

2. Choice of the elective subject will be determined by the Principal depending upon the academic performance.
