Introduction: Republic Act No. 8750 or the Philippine Seat-belt Law mandates the installation of seat belts in
front and rear seats of private vehicles. Likewise, it prohibits children below six (6) years of age to occupy the
front seat of any running motor vehicle. Usually the accidents happen without a lot of warning. In the routine
trips can expose the children to danger from motor vehicles. Collision is one of the leading reason that can
injured to passenger and it cause of death for children under age. The main point of this research that many
drivers use restraints incorrectly on their child passengers. The research aims to ensure the safety of all
children in public transportation.
The documentary is interesting because it doesnt not only tackle about the child safety in
public transportation but also to show the attitude of Filipino being a child friendly when it comes in public
transportation.
RATIONALE Evaluators Input:
This study is important because it let the agencies of the government know that there is a rising issue regarding
safety and should be face by making justifications in their policy implementations. Lets the public especially
the parents be vigilant of their childrens changing needs. Lets the drivers and the associations know that the
safety of the public is always to be considered first.

This study aims to Identify or establish that safety is guaranteed to passenger. Specifically children when
travelling and to establish a better policy format regarding this matter thereof.

Specific Objective:

1. This study aims to give awareness that a law exists by giving proper orientation through seminars,
trainings of personnel involve.
2. This study aims to ensure childrens protection in matters regarding transportation
3. This study aims to make a private and public vehicles rather than cars child-friendlier by adding or
supplementing alternative methods that we can especially adopt from other countries.
4. This study aims to know the level of awareness of the public in ignoring the law involving childrens
protection and safety in transportation.
5. To influence the quality and quantity of research related the child safety and its improvement.
6. Seek to ensures that coordination, collaboration, and cooperation of sectors,
Government departments, partner organizations, and disciplines.
