 Introduction-
Moton picture is a sequence of
images of moving objects,
photographed by a camera &
providing the optcal illusions of
contnuous movement when
projected on to a screen & a form of
entertainment, informaton etc
composed of such a sequence of
images & shown in a cinema.
The moton picture is a remarkably
effectve medium in conveying drama
& especially in the evocaton of
emoton.
 History of Motion Pictures
The history of moton picture began in
1890s, when moton picture camera
was invented.
The frst flm studio were built in 1897.
The frst close up shot was introduced
by D.W Grifth.
The frst rotatng camera for taking
panning shot was build in 1898.
The frst use of animaton in movies
was in 1898.
The frst feature length mult reel flm
was produced in Australia in 1906.
Untl 1927,moton pictures were
produced without sound.
 Mechanism of Motion
Picture.
The illusion of moton pictures
based on the optcal phenomenon
known as persistence of vision &
the phi phenomenon. The 1st of
these causes the brain to retain
images cast upon the retna of the
eye for a fracton of a second
beyond their disappearance from
the feld of sight while the later
creates apparent movement
between images when they
succeeded one another rapidly.
