Prouds donates books to Nadi library
A total of 575 books have been
donated to the Nadi Town Coun-
cil library by Prouds.
Of these, 334 are Shakespeare
titles, 218 are non-ction titles
while 23 are easy to read educa-
tional books for beginners and
younger students.
While accepting the donation
on Thursday, November 30, Nadi
Town Council CEO Peter Din-
ning thanked the management
of Prouds for making such an
invaluable contribution towards
their library.
Its a wonderful donation and
we are very honoured and privi-
leged by your generosity, Mr
Dinning said.
Those who will have the op-
portunity to come and read these
books and partake in the library
activities will be very apprecia-
tive, Mr Dinning said.

Meet
Joeli
JOELI Rokosuka is a familiar face at the Nadi In-
ternational Airport since 1992.
At 76, Joeli is still going strong and is an important
member of the Prouds DFS team.
Originally from the province of Naitasiri, Joeli has
ve children and four siblings.
He has attended Dravuni District School for his
primary school education and attained tertiary knowl-
edge at Navuso Agriculture School.
I started with Prouds in the year 1992 when I was
52-years-old and have enjoyed my work ever since as
an attendant, Mr Rokosuka said.
My daily jobs includes ensuring the store is as
clean as it can be and also assist with packing of
goods into the shelves and gondolas, he added.
When asked how he managed to work for so long
and provide such dedicated and loyal service to the
company, Joeli said he loves to work for Motibhai
Group and wants to continue for as long as he can
because of the respect and love he has received from
the management and sta of the company.
I enjoy every moment with my friendly work-
mates and very good directors as well.
When asked to pass a message for his fellow col-
leagues, Mr Rokosuka said: Everyone should come
on time to work and be loyal and you will be looked
after well by the company in return.
I wish to thank the company for looking after me
so well over the years and giving me a job which pro-
vides food, clothing and shelter for me and my family.
Wishing all my directors, colleagues and custom-
ers a very joyful Christmas and happy new year.
