Duterte and Globalization

The way Duterte speak and the first putang ina words he say, people really shock but

the other just laugh but we cant blame on the way he speak. Also we cant blame him about the

keynote speech that he read word to word like he said 500 centuries ago instead of 5

centuries ago it is the writers fault. About the issue that our President seems to have some

hearing disorder because of matter at hand. I dont know what Dutertes answer so I do some

research on that, Duterte said and explained why he has difficulty hearing, citing injuries he got

from motorcycle accidents. According to Duterte, he often presses his thumb behind his right ear

to help his hearing.

"The reason why nag-gaganun ako is I'm pushing my thumb against the (neck) kasi 'yung

pagkadisgrasya ko sa motor, back when I was 67 years old, created two issues dito sa spine ko,"

he said.

He added that he has been injured from several vehicular accidents which affected his hearing.

"Kaya 'yan dinidiin ko 'to, nakaganun ako kasi I'm pushing behind the ear, kasi ito, may

bali na noon, semplang rin. Tapos naulit. Kaya hard ako sa hearing," Duterte said.

And yes, he is correct on what he said to his audience of CEOs that they should adopt an

inclusive business model that would provide opportunities to those at the bottom of the scale

the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in their countries. But it will work base on

what CEOs do on that business. Charity is not what less developed economies and small

businesses need, said Duterte. "What they need are greater market access and the opportunity to

participate in growth and development." The President was expected to push for the full
participation of MSMEs at the APEC Summit, a foreign affairs official said. This was among

other key priorities such as sustainable and inclusive growth, connectivity, and human resource

development. Our President also spoke of the ills of globalization even as he praised it in his

prepared speech. While globalization has been generally beneficial for the world economy, it

cannot denied that there have been adverse effects as well. About the meeting of our president

and president of Russia, Duterte thanks Russia for donated firearms. "The arms that you sent

were very accurate and they were able to take care of the snipers," Duterte told Putin referring to

the gun battle that happened in Marawi City.
