The department of Aeronautical Engineering has been functioning from the year 2006 at
Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology. Our department is an Anna University, Chennai
approved research centre and many candidates have registered for research through our
department research centre.

Our department has an energetic and young team of faculty members who are
contributing in developing the students to meet the industry requirements, In this regard we
request you to provide permission for a team of faculty members to visit your laboratories
favorably between 19 January 2018 to 10 February 2018, interact with eminent scientists and
engineers to understand modern technologies in the field of aerospace.

This type of interaction will be very helpful for the upskilling of faculty members which
will definitely help them deliver more knowledge to the students related to aerospace
technologies.
