We are currently collecting canned goods for our local food bank.

December 21st is the last day of school before Christmas break. Parties will be on this day at 1:30 p.m.
January 8th Students return to school!

Reading/Language Arts

We are continuing the book, Morris Goes to School. Math

We are continuing to work on different vowel sounds
this week as well as different ending sounds including
ck.
High Frequency Words for this story: too, blue, new,
say, any
Science/Social Studies
In science, we are studying physical properties and how
properties can change from solid to liquid and liquid to
gas.
In social studies, we will continue Where in the
World?. Students will be learning what continent,
country, state, and city they live in.
Fact Sets 8-12 have been sent home. Many
students have not yet mastered lists 11 and 12.
Your child needs to be able to give answers to
these sums and differences quickly. So, we are
stopping to review sets 8-12 until Christmas. Each
week there will be an assessment on one of those
lists. Please continue to practice these lists at
home. .
Spelling
Please help your child not only to read but also to learn
the spellings of the following words. Test on Friday!
