immense pleasure in inviting your esteemed Institute to the 9th Indian Open Inter Engineering Collegiate
Sports Fest 2016-17 being held on the 22nd & 23rd of February, 2017 in our Institute.

Events Details with Registration Fee: (Free food will be provided) (Cash prizes up to 4
lakhs) (Spot Registrations are not allowed)
Athletics: Men & Women: 100 m run, 200 m run, 400 m run, 800 m run, 4X100 relay run,
4X400 relay run, Long jump, High jump, Shot-put & Discus throw. Rs 200/- per head per event
Badminton: Team Event Men & Women separately, Minimum 2 & Maximum 4 per Team,
Team Event will consist of two singles and one doubles. Rs 800/-
Basketball: Team Event, Men & Women, Maximum 12 per Team. Rs 1500/-
Chess: Individual Event, Men & Women. Rs 200/-(Individual)
Cricket: Team Event, Men, Maximum 15 per Team. Rs 2500/-(limited teams),6 th to 10th

Football (Shoot-out): Team Event, Men, Maximum 2 players per team. Rs 200/-
Kabaddi: Men Team Event, Maximum of 12 per team. Rs 1000/-
Kho-Kho: Men Team Event, Maximum of 12 per team. Rs 1000/-
Table Tennis: Men & Women: Doubles event. Rs 600/-
Tennis: Men (Singles) Rs 300/- & Women (Doubles) Rs 600/-
Throwball: Team Event, Women, Maximum12 per Team. Rs 1000/-
Volleyball: Team Event, Men & Women, Maximum 12 per Team. Rs 1000/-
REGISTRATION RULES:
1. All the details including total number of participants, requirement of accommodation and your
contact details must be provided clearly on the registration form provided on the site. The details of
the participants should reach our Institute by 17th February 2017.
2. Demand Draft should be taken in favor of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering &
Technology payable at Hyderabad or by paying the CASH or by paying through online money
transfer (Name: DANTU ARUN SAI KUMAR, Bank: STATE BANK OF INDIA, Account No:
31455483024, IFSC Code: SBIN0006645, Branch: St.Johns Road, City: Secunderabad). After
paying the amount please send your event details (College name, Player name, Transaction id,
player mobile number and Sports Events Name) to the whatsapp number : 9059017425.
3. The Registration form along with the Demand Draft and an official participation letter on the
college letter head duly attested by the Principal must be sent to the following address.

NOTE:
1. VNRVJIET is not responsible for postal delays.
2. You will get a confirmation mail on registration, containing your team registration number.
3. A print out of the confirmation mail letter or receipt of payment should be brought at the time of
Sports Fest.
4. It is MANDATORY for every participant to produce their respective COLLEGE ID CARDS and
ELIGIBILITY FORMS on college letter head.

ACCOMODATION DETAILS:
1. On request, free accommodation will be provided to only the out-station participants. The team
should fill in the necessary accommodation request in the registration entry form.
2. Accommodation details and travel details must reach us on or before 15th February, 2017.
3. Accommodation will be provided from 22nd & 23rd February, 2017.
4. Teams registering for accommodation should get their own locks to safeguard their belongings.

GENERAL RULES:
1. All the draws/fixtures and the event schedule will be given at the Help Desk.
2. No match will be re-scheduled.
3. The decisions of the Referees and the Sports Committee are final and binding. No requests will be
entertained.
4. The sporting events will be scheduled from 8.00 hours to 23.00 hours.
5. Teams should report at the arena one hour before the scheduled time of your match. Failure to do
so will result in a walk-over.
6. It is compulsory for participating teams to bring their own sporting kits/ uniform for all events.
Only shorts, t-shirts or sleeveless jerseys are allowed.
7. A re-fundable caution deposit of Rs.2000/- will be collected per college on your arrival towards any
unforeseen damages to our property.
8. No MBA, MCA, B.Ed, BBA, B.com, B.Sc etc students are allowed. Only B.Tech/B.E and
M.Tech/M.E students are allowed.
9. Badminton and Tennis Non-marking sole shoes compulsory and also to get their own Plastic
cocks and Balls.
10. Only registered participants will be permitted to enter the college premises along with the Physical
Director. Non participants are not allowed.
11. We also request you to carry an Institution flag for march-past.
12. VNRVJIET is not responsible for providing any type of compensation etc. in case of
injuries/accidents to the participants.
