I. General Program Information
Program Title: GENDER AND SENSITIVITY SEMINAR
AND TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY FOR
TEACHERS

Program Description: This one-day seminar workshop on GAD


and team building activity for teachers will
rejuvenate teachers knowledge on RA 9710.
Further, this will also strengthen facultys
bond on the various team building activities.
Prerequisite Programs:
Duration: 1 day (December 21, 2017)

Target Personnel: A. There are 6 male teachers and 10
female teachers in the school.
Budget Requirements: Snacks: Morning/Afternoon = 2,000.00
Meals: = 2,000.00
Materials: = 1,000.00
Total 5,000.00
Source of Fund: MOOE/PS

Rationale:
Semong National High School seeks to improve teachers motivation to perform
better. Further; this team building is a good avenue in boosting teachers morale and
leadership skills inside the classroom and community. In addition, it will also serve as a
refresher about Work Ethics concepts and classroom rules and policies in relation to RA
9710. Lastly, building and maintaining a positive team culture and atmosphere is very
important for teaching and non-teaching personnel.
To address this concern, the school initiated a one day seminar workshop on
gender and sensitivity and team building activity. Accordingly, teachers attendance is
separated to promote gender and sensitivity in line with with R.A. 9710.

Objectives:
At the end of the seminar workshop, the participants are expected to:
a. To enhance teachers critical thinking skill on the variety of activities.
b. To strengthen teachers knowledge on R.A. 9710.
c. To improve team communication effectiveness.
d. To enliven Work Ethics concepts and policies on the field of teaching in
accordance with RA 9710.

End of Program Outputs:


1. Teachers will be able to develop action plans in each subject in accordance with
the principles of RA 9710.
