Leadership Profile

I would like to chose Barrack Obama as my leadership profile. He was born at 4th August
1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the 44th President of the United States (2009 2017)
becoming the first African American to serve in that office. In his early childhood, Obama
writes: That my father looked nothing like the people around me-that be was black as pitch,
my mother white as milk-barely registered in my mind. As a young adult, Obama was
educated at Occidental College, Columbia University, and Harvard Law School. In Chicago,
Obama worked at various times as a community organizer, lawyer, lecturer and senior
lecturer of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School, and published his
memoir Dreams from My Father before beginning his political career in 1997. He married
Michele in 1992 and settle down with her in Hyde Park. Their first daughter, Malia Ann, was
born in 1998 and the send daughter, Sasha, in 2001.

President Barrack Obama is a good leader because he is perceptive. As the leader of the free
world, President Barrack Obama rallies for people. He understands that the United States can
only work as a unit when everyone has the same opportunities in healthcare, education and
employment. The University of Notre Dame states that leaders must be responsive to the
needs of the team. That is exactly what President Obama accomplishes in the Oval Office on
a daily basis. He recognizes what he must do as president and executes, regardless of how
controversial the issue. Another quality leader exemplify is the ability to communicate and
connect with their audience. President Barack Obama is a great orator. Even those who
oppose him recognize the fact that he can reach his audience and motivate them to act. The
Girl Scouts of America states good leaders recognize they do not know everything. President
Barack Obama acknowledges missteps his administration makes and works to correct them.
Many leaders try to look infallible because they command so much power. Since no single
person has the answers to everything, a leader who is capable of admitting wrongs, is a rare
breed.

I chose Barrack Obama because he is the leader with higher emotional intelligence.
Emotional intelligence is very important to a leader, because you might get some sarcastic
words come from the haters. For example, Barrack Obama during his speech on immigration
