ANALYSIS OF TOTAL MANAGEMENT QUALITY OF DAIRY CATTLE

COOPERATIVE IN "DADIJAYA" VILLAGE UNIT COOPERATIVE (VUC)


PURWODADI DISTRICT PASURUAN EAST JAVA

Dairy Cattle Cooperatives (Village Unit Cooperative) have a strategic role in development of
dairy cattle business. Not only to create profits, but VUC also in demand to produce quality
products and good service. Total Quality Management (TQM) is a modern management
concept that strives to respond appropriately to every change that exists by both external and
internal forces. The implementation of Total Quality Management consists of five pilars such
as pillar of leadership, pillar of commitment, pillar of organization, pillar of process and pillar
of product. This research was conducted in "Dadi Jaya" VUC Purwodadi Pasuruan.
Implementation of research and data retrieval conducted on 24 October to 26 November
2016. The aim of this research is to know the application of Total Quality Management
(TQM) on the pillars of leadership, pillars of commitment, pillars of organizational, pillars of
process, and pillars of products in "Dadi Jaya"VUC Purwodadi Pasuruan, and the influence
of TQM on the welfare of employees and members of VUC. Determination of research
respondents conducted by purposive. The method used was a survey to conduct a
questionnaire distributed to respondents. Respondents who were sampled in this study were
all employees of VUC with 30 respondents and VUC members with 30 respondents. The
result of research and discussion of the influence of total quality management on the
employees welfare of "Dadi Jaya" VUC there were 6 factors that was factor 1
"organizational culture and reward system" with coefficient of 0,025, factor 2 "organizational
communication and supervision" with coefficient of -.105, factor 3 "teamwork and quality of
work" with a coefficient of 0.141, a factor of 4 "product quality and leadership style" with a
coefficient of 0.175, a factor of 5 "labor relations and timeliness" with a coefficient of 0,531,
factor 6 "satisfaction and motivation" with coefficients of 0.127. While the 6 factors that
affected on the welfare of members in "Dadi Jaya" VUC was a factor of 1 "organizational
culture and reward system" with a coefficient of 0.182, factor 2 "organizational
communication and supervision" with a coefficient of -.267, factor 3 "teamwork and quality
work "With a coefficient of 0.274, a factor of 4" quality and work motivation "with a
coefficient of 0.333, a factor of 5" labor relations and timeliness "with a coefficient of 0.467,
a factor of 6" satisfaction and motivation "with a coefficient of 0.106.
