Introduction
There is no doubt that most people have the stereotype about modern America is
freedom and equality. However, there are some ethnic minorities that actually suffer the
unequal treatment and violent law-enforcement in their life. For example, in April 2017,
an unarmed black teenager was killed by a white police officer when he just left a party.
The only reason the police shot him is that the police suspected him to be under-age
drinking. Jamiel Lynch and Darran Simon 2017 Moreover, the similar example
frequently happened in modern America society. The police brutality is increasingly the
more serious social problem, especially for Black Americans. According to research by the
U.S. Department of Jus- tice, it shows that the white officer killed the unarmed African

2) The consequence of violent law enforcement is that society becomes more divided.
