Nurse with over ten years of nursing experience in different clinical settings. Through-out
the years, Ive developed extensive clinical skills in many nursing areas such as specialized
and general wards, operating theatre and ICU, OPD and MCH/FP.

Im currently working in Kenyatta National Hospital in Orthopedics Ward as Nursing


Officer on locum basis since July 2016 and more recently in Burns Intensive Care Unit. Im
responsible for managing patients according to hospitals protocols and improving patient
clinical outcomes through patient-centered nursing care plans. I previously served as a
Nursing officer in-charge of reproductive health services at a faith-based facility, Ruben
Medical-Centre for a period of four years. During this time, I worked very closely with
Mukuru/Ruben community where I developed skills including leadership skills related to
facility management, improvement of client service delivery, leading and mentorship of
clinical staff. I also previously worked in several capacities as a Nursing Officer with Karen
Hospital, Nairobi, Tumutumu Mission Hospital and Toto Medical Centre.

Furthermore, Ive attended specific training such as HIV counseling and testing, PMTCT,
VMMC, and family planning, management of malaria, diarrhea, TB and HIV diseases. As
detailed in my resume, Im highly skilled and knowledgeable on matters related to patient
care in diverse clinical setups, including national referral hospital, private hospitals and
service delivery in urban informal settlements as well as in rural areas.
