OPENING PRAYER
Celebrant: Father, when you created mankind, you willed that man and woman should
be one. You have made the bond of Marriage a holy covenant, a symbol of love of
Christ for His Church. Hear our prayers, for Joe Anand and Maria Viani. With faith
in you and in each other, they pledge their fidelity today. Make their love
fruitful and may their lives always bear witness to the reality of your selfless
love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
All: Amen
Blessed the husband of a good wife, twicelengthened are his days; a worthy wife
brings joy to her husband, peaceful and full is his life. A good wife is a
generous gift bestowed upon him who fears the Lord; be he rich or poor, his heart
is content, and smile is ever on his face. A gracious wife delights her husband,
her thoughtfulness puts flesh on his bones; a gift from the LORD is her governed
speech, and her firm virtue is of surpassing worth. Choicest of blessing is a
modest wife, priceless her chaste soul. A holy and decent woman, adds grace upon
grace; indeed, no price is worthy of her temperate soul. Like the sun rising in the
Lords heavens, the beauty of virtuous wife is the radiance of her home.
The Word of the lord
All: Thanks to be god.
RESPOSORIAL PSALM
Holy are you Lord, Your mercies never end
You provide for our needs, Youre more than a friend
Your grace is so unchanging, Youre faithful and true
Lord I love You (2)
Chorus
Love one another; as Jesus loves you (2)
As the chosen of God, then, the holy people of God whom He loves, you are to be
clothed in heart-felt compassion, in generosity and humility, gentleness and
patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other, if one of you has a complaint
against another. The Lord has forgiven you: now you must do the same. Over all
these, put on love, the perfect bond. And may the peace of Christ, reign in your
hearts; because it is for this that you were called together in one body. Always be
thankful. Let the Word of God, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach
each other and advice each other in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts, sing
psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; and whatever you say or do, let it be
in the name of the Lord Jesus, in thanksgiving to God and the Father through him.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as you should in the Lord. Husbands love your
wives and do not be sharp with them.
The word of the lord
All: Thanks to be god.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia to the Lamb
Alleluia, alleluia, by the Blood of Christ we stand,
Every tongue, every tribe, every people, every land
Giving glory, giving honour
Giving praise unto the Lamb of God (2)
GOSPEL READING
Celebrant: The Lord be with you
All: And with you spirit
Celebrant: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. John 15:7- !7
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will
be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so
prove to be my disciples .As the father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in
my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have
kept my Fathers commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to
you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my
commandment, that you love another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one
than this that someone lays down his life for his friends. You are my friends if
you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does
not know what his master is doing: but I have called you friends, for all that I
have heard from my Father, I have made known to you. You have not chosen me, But I
have chosen you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your
fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give it
to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.
The Gospel of the lord
All: Praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ

9.THE CREED
All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son,
Our Lord. He was conceived
by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into the dead.
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father Almighty.
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
1.For the Church: Lord we pray for our Pope Francis, Bishop George Antonisamy and
priests and priests all over specially the priests gathered here for this wedding.
May they continue to support this couple through their prayer and help. Let us pray
to the Lord.

accept all the prayers and petitions we have offered. We pray, Lord that you
help Joe Anand and Maria Viani in their responsibility of building up a new
Christian family. We ask you this through Christ our Lord.

be radiated through them to others.

as beautiful and colourful as these flowers, ever spreading the fragrance of
Christian values wherever they are. May they be a source of inspiration to others,
brightening up the lives of people around them by their living.
Fruits
Fruits are a sign of sweetness. Lord, because of your love and sweet nature, You
gave us these fruits as nourishment for our life.Let your love, O Lord, be poured
onto Joe and Maria and may they in turn find their love for each other always as
sweet as these fruits, and remind them of the sacrificial love of their parents
that has borne much fruit to be what they are today.
Wine and Host
Lord, this bread and wine symbolize your body and blood. We pray you to bless Joe
and Maria at the threshold of a new life together today as husband and wife. Let
them always look up to you for discernment and guidance when in need and in doubt.

where to give you thanks. You created man in love to share Your divine life. We
see his high destiny in the love of husband and wife, which bears the imprint of
Your own love. Love is mans origin, love is his constant calling, and love is his
fulfillment in heaven. The love of man and woman is made holy in the sacrament of
marriage and becomes the mirror of your everlasting love. Through Christ, the
choirs of angel and all the saints praise and worship your glory. May our voices
blend with theis as we join in their unending hymn of praise.

Celebrant: You are indeed Holy, O Lord and all You have created rightly gives You
praise, for through Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power and working of the
Holy Spirit, You give life to all things and make them holy, and You never cease to
gather a people to Yourself, so that from the rising of the sun to its setting a
pure sacrifice may be offered to Your name. Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore
You: by the same Spirit graciously make holy those gifts we have brought to You for
consecration, that they may become the Body and + Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ
at whose command we celebrate these mysteries.
For on the night he was betrayed He himself took bread, and giving You thanks he
said the blessing , broke the bread and gave it to His disciples, saying TAKE THIS,
ALL OF YOU,AND EAT OF IT; FOR THIS IS MY BODY WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
In a similar way, when supper was ended, He took the chalice and giving You thanks
He said the blessing and gave the chalice to His disciples saying. TAKE THIS ALL OF
YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT; FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW
AND ETERNAL COVENANT; WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE
FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
