Abstract

Dok and Perkapalan Surabaya (Surabaya shipping), PT. is a companies which is


budging in the ship reparation field, most of the process use heavy equipments that one of
them is overhead crane. Interference (Trouble) cause of overhead crane would potentially
inhibit ship reparation process and cause of safety threat in the workplace. The purposed of
this research, to control the maintenance in order to decrease the value of loss and also
increase work safety. The research was conducted with a regular maintenance plan called
reliability Centered Maintenance II. This method combine between qualitative analysis
includes FMEA and RCM II Decision Worksheet. Failure records and components repair,
used to determine the value of TTF (Time To Failure) and TTR (Time To Repair). That values
were inserted into weibull ++6 software the purpose is determine the appropriate (match)
type of distribution. Interval time of maintenance was determined by considering the
maintenance cost (CM), repair cost (CR), MTTR and distribution parameters of each
component. Calculation of reliability value used to determine for how long a component was
not reliable. Then calculate stock number of spare part which discard is needed. whereas
making of management information system with PHP MYSQL. The results of research
showed there are 24 form of function failures at overhead crane. Risk assessment result with
RPN showed that critical component needs to get priority care on overhead crane, are
function failures of hoisting motor, trolley motor, and burn of bridge drive motor.
Determination of optimum maintenance intervals, given to components that have scheduled
restoration task and scheduled discard task, so those action became technically feasible. The
calculation result of most spare part optimum stock is motor copper, and the reorder point of
all spare parts is one
