pH MEASUREMENTS
Ifthe electrode has been left dry, soak the tp in
‘8 pH7 (M10007) buffer solution fora few minutes
to reactivate i.
Sulbmerge the tip of the electrode into the sample
to be measured, select the pH mode and allow
the reading to stablze belore taking measurements
EC/TDS MEASUREMENTS
Immerse the tp ofthe electrode into the sample
to be tested
Select the measurement range (EC or TDS)
land wait for the temperature sensor to reach
thermal equilrium with the samples before
taking measurements.
[AFTER MEASUREMENTS the intrument should
be switched off and the probe cleaned and stored
with @ few drops of storage solution in the
protective cap.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:
Remove the protective cap from the electrode

ready for use.ECITDS calibration:
A) PREPARATION
Single point EC calibration
Choose appropriate standard
Model MW801: use 1382 ppm
(4100328) for TDS or 1.413 Siem (MM100318)
{or EC calibration,
Model MW802: use 1500 pom (M10442B) for
TDS oF 1.413 mSlem (M10034B) for EC calibration,
B) PROCEDURE
Immerse the tip ofthe electrode in the standard
soliton
Wait forthe reading to stabilize, and thermal
equitvium be reaches,
Turn the ECITDS calibration
knob unt the dlsplay shows,
the EC or TDS reading at
25°.
The calration is now complete
and the meter is ready for use.
The intrument should be re-calrated at least
‘once a month, or when the probe or battery is
repaced
Note: The conversion between EC and TDS is
made by a built-in cirult. If calibration
|s made in EC range, TDS range is
‘automaticaly calibrated (or vice versa),
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
“The metere are powered by a OV battery that is
in a compartment located in the rear of the
instrument.
