Even thoug developing countries receive finalcial help ,poverty is still an issue ,
Some say these nations should be receiving other kinds of support to eliminate
poverty. To what extent do you agree or disagree. Give examples and suggest
what form of help can be offered
Sustainability and prosperity of a country is dependent on its economy. Developing countries
are facing many hindrances to have healthy economy, one such concern is raising indigence
level. The veterans of economy believe that such counties should be helped via other means
also besides financial aid. I firmly agree with this point of view that by helping such countries
via other means like educating them and teaching specialized skills, can help them to overcome
the issue mentioned. This essay will show how education and skill development , can play role
to raise the economy and reduce poverty level. .
Firstly, providing specialized skills to the people helps to develop industries and create jobs.
This is because, to setup an industry skilled and professional workers are corner stones for it.
For example , in initial stages of cricket development in Afghanistan, Pakistan helped them in
establishing cricket there by sending skilled cricketers and coaching staff who taught them
techniques how to play cricket. After training and learning such skills, Afghanistan was
successful to make an international cricket team and set a cricketing industry there, which is
one of the emerging markets of economy in terms of advertisement and media rights. Thus it is

Secondly, providing people with education helps to make them self dependent and to
overcome the issue of penury. This is because having professional education creats more
opportunities to have better jobs. For instance , many Pakistani doctors and other
professionals after completing their education from England are serving in European countries.
The money which these professionals earn from these countries in terms of salary ,when
transferred to Pakistan, contributes a lot to its economic growth. As this shows ,education play
a role to have better job opportunities thus in economic development.
To conclude , I recapitulate that to overcome issue of penury and pave pathway for economic
devlopment ,developing countries do need extra financial assistance in terms of education and
skill development training . Thus its is hoped, if such regimens are practiced , it will help

essay is long and the style is unusual, even for me. A lot of my content consists of explaining

Topic: Some people say that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others think
individual circumstances and motivation should be given consideration. Discuss both views and give your
opinion.
The length and severity of judicial punishments is a controversial issue given the various factors in play such
as individual intent and extenuating circumstances.
Some argue in favour of the proposition that every crime should carry the exact same sentence. For them, this
has the appeal of making it easy for the general public to understand the criminal justice system. For example,
if two people are convicted separately of murder and they both go on to serve 20-year prison sentences, society
as a whole can see that the system has a certain predictability and transparency. Moreover such a system
eliminates the possibility of judicial subjectivity or bias - perceived or real, when deciding on the nature and
length of punishments. Those who advocate such a policy might argue that its simplicity would therefore
bolster public confidence in the court process.
Nevertheless, I share the view of those who believe that the judiciary should include a range of subjective and
case-specific factors when sentencing and in particular, the level of intent. For example, a victim of domestic
violence who eventually snaps and kills her abuser now has the possibility of pleading in English courts that
she was provoked. Should such a plea succeed, then her sentence would be substantially reduced. Conversely,
consider the case of an accused who plants a bomb with the intent of killing many, for political reasons, but in
fact the bomb kills only one innocent. Even though the result is identical to the domestic violence case, this
accused is likely to be tried for terrorist-related offences as well as murder and receive a far lengthier prison
term reflecting the malice and premeditation which accompanied the criminal act. This outcome seems much
fairer to me than the imposition of an identical sentence on both offenders.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that, while a policy of fixed sentences has certain advantages, overall, it is
more important for judges to weigh up a broad range of subjective considerations, the most significant one
being intent.
