Cabinet

1. a piece of furniture that is used for storing things and usually has doors
and shelves
2. An upright, cupboardlike repository with shelves, drawers, or compartments
for the safekeeping or display of objects.
3. A small or private room set aside for a specific activity.

The course will take these definitions of cabinet to expand their

meaning through the design,fabrication and performance with/of conceptual objects.
Students will be encouraged to question the relation of the human body with an
object that stores and emulates fantasies,serving as a container for both body
(material) and mind (collected items,fabricated totems,etc).
The course will integrate techniques of performance art and emotional design.
