1. Alarmcodes - classing
Alarm- and Error-codes are indicated on the P-box display.
The alarm codes are classified below.
At alarm code level 0 - 3, the servo power supply is cut.

1.1 Caution
Observe carefulness when alarm codes for the module Variable Data
(JANCD - MIF01) are handled, then this presume that the system is placed
in maintenance mode.
The module MIF01 contains the basic information involved in the software
and are kept by the battery-backup. Carelessness can cause total
memoryloss.
If the module MIF01 have to be replaced or need a more careful
examination, please contact your MOTOMAN representative before
further measures are made.

1 xxx Level 1 - 2 Reset of the alarm with the reset-button or an external


2 xxx serious error signal is not possible.
Turn OFF the servo power supply before error-measure
is made.

3 xxx Level 3 Reset of the alarm with the reset-button is possible, but
serious error it´s impossible to reset with an external signal. Reset the
alarm and measure the error. Turn the servo power
supply ON.

4 xxx Level 4 - 8 Reset of the alarm with the reset-button or an external


5 xxx minor error signal is possible.

9 xxx Level 9

Start the troubleshooting with a replacement off the board which are
indicated by the MSV-figures.
MSV-number specification are made with the last figure in the alarm code,
a number between 0 - 6, for example 1180 to 1186.

Red LED correspond servo power supply ON.
Green LED correspond each axis on the servopack and lit at servo
power supply ON.
Green LED OFF, indicate that an error has occurred in the servo motor
or in the cable bundle.
Red LED OFF, indicate that an error has occurred in the servopack or in
the cable bundle. See alarm code.

3. Error messages- classing


Error-messages are indicated on the P-box display.
The error codes are classified below.
Error messages occur when simple mistakes have been made, such as
pressing the START button while the robot is not in PLAY-mode. A four-
digit error code and a message appears at the bottom of the display.
these errors are cleared by pressing CANCEL key on the Teachbox.
Error messages turn of the ENABLE key.
