MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
The Department of Management Sciences, endowed with highly qualified
faculty, diversity of programs, and breadth of offerings, inspires and enables
you to discover new frontiers in knowledge. A meaningful learning experience
in the form of quality teaching and in-depth research, excellent on-campus
facilities, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, student counseling and

The Department offers degree programs from undergraduate to PhD levels. All programs, integrating theory
with practical experience, are quite challenging and competitive and offer a fine blend of the indigenous and
international standards to let you have an edge and a competitive advantage in the current job market.

 BS(A&F)

ZABIST offers a four-year BS(A&F) degree with
specialization in Accounting and Finance.
BS(A&F) program consists of (8 semesters) 46
courses (6 courses per semester) and a final project,
with a total of 144 credit hours. Students are also
required to complete a 6-week internship. Those who
complete the BS(A&F) degree from SZABIST will get
nine exemptions in ACCA papers F1 through F9. The
maximum time limit to complete the BS(A&F) degree
is seven years.
MBA-Day/Evening
ZABIST offers an MBA degree with specialization in
Management, Marketing, Finance, Human
Resource Management, and Supply Chain
Management. The MBA Program runs on both day and
evening basis and consists of 36/72 credit hours.
1. For students with a 4-year BBA degree, the MBA
Program is a 1.5-year program with 10 courses (30
credits) and a thesis/research project (6 credits) to
graduate. Students are also required to complete a 6-
week internship.

BBA 2. For students with a 4-year non-BBA / professional

degree (MA, M.Com, BS, B.E, MBBS, etc.), the MBA

ZABIST offers a four-year (eight semesters) BBA Program is a 2 to 2.5-year program. Twenty two courses
degree program of 144 credit hours. For the (66 credits) and a thesis/research project (6 credits) are
BBA program, the students are required to required to graduate. Students are also required to
complete 46 courses and a 6-credit complete a 6-week internship.
Research/Business Project. The courses include 42
compulsory courses and 4 electives from
Management, Marketing, Finance, or Supply Chain
Management. To obtain the BBA degree, students
have to complete 144 credit hours and an internship.
The maximum time limit to complete the BBA degree
is seven years.
Those who complete the BBA degree from SZABIST
will get exemption in ACCA papers F1, F2, F3 and F4.
The program is in the process of being accredited by
National Business Education Accreditation Council
(NBEAC).

BBS
S
ZABIST offers a two-year BBS (Bachelor of
Business Studies) degree program of 72 credit
hours. For the BBS program, the students are
required to complete 22 courses and a 6-credit
Research Project. The courses include 19 compulsory
courses and 3 electives. To obtain the BBS degree, the
students have to complete 72 credit hours and an
internship. The degree needs to be completed within
four years.
 MS
S
ZABIST offers the MS Degree (M.Phil. equivalent) Day
and Evening Program in the fields of Management,
Human Resource, Marketing, and Finance. MS can be
completed in minimum 1.5 years after the four-year relevant
Bachelors or a Masters degree. Eight courses and research
work are required to graduate. Alternatively, six courses, six
credits of research (Two Independent Research Studies) and
a thesis can be done. Students may opt for two courses in lieu
of research thesis (6 credit hours). A total of 30 credit hours
must be completed. Additional courses may be required for
non-management degree holders, depending upon past
academic work. All MS students are required to clear GRE or
GAT General Test with minimum 50% score.

Ph.D

ZABIST offers a PhD degree in Management Sciences
that can be completed in minimum 3 years after a
relevant management science MS degree. Eight
courses and dissertation are required to graduate. A total of
54 credit hours must be completed. GRE (Subject)/GAT
(Subject) score of minimum 60% is required to be submitted
at the time of admission.
 Eligibility Criteria
BS(A&F) / BBA
1. Intermediate 50% marks, including first year (with no
supplementary) OR
2. A level (3 passes)/Equivalency from IBCC (In case of foreign
boards)
3. An entrance test and group discussion / interview

BBS/MBA
1. A bachelor degree (14-year for BBS and 16-year for MBA) with
minimum 55% marks / CGPA 2.50 from an HEC recognized
university/institution
2. An entrance test and group discussion / interview

MS
1. 16 years of education in the related field with minimum 55%
marks or CGPA 2.5
2. GAT General with minimum 50% score
3. An entrance test and interview

Ph.D
1. 17.5-18 years of education with minimum 60% marks /CGPA
3.00 from an HEC recognized university in the relevant field of
study
2. GAT Subject with minimum 60% score, And
3. Interview
