Las Vegas Massacre

The Las Vegas massacre was the worst mass shooting in modern United States history, and
one of the worst in the world. The heavily armed white American murderous shooter known
as Stephen Paddock killed 59 people and injured over 527 people in a mass shooting at a
country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night, October 1, 2017.
The USA is certainly having a hard time with acerbated by the heightened concerns over the
US August Eclipse, President Trump, North Korea and the devastating hurricanes and
flooding, deadly wildfires, this Las Vegas massacre and some more possible to come.

rows money or not, judge the 6th cusp and find out whether the lord of the sub of the 6th
cusp is either retrograde or deposited in the constellation whose lord is retrograde. If either
is retrograde, one cannot borrow. If the sub lord and the lord of the constellation in which
the sub lord is situated, are in the direct motion, then one will be able to borrow. If it is Sun
the loan will be from Government. If it is Moon, very quickly the lender will agree to give. If

Does Obesity come from a Gene?

If a person's bodyweight is at least 20% higher than it should be, he or she is considered
obese. Hence obesity is a medical condition which has been defined by medical science as
abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health. According to the World
Health Organization (WHO), worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980. In 2014,
more than 1.9 billion adults, 18 years and older, were overweight. Of these over 600 million
were obese and 41 million children under the age of 5 were overweight or obese in 2014.
Medical authorities on investigation of Obesity, say this is most commonly caused by a
combination of excessive food intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility.
Further, medical science says that people can become obese for many different reasons
such as consuming too many calories, leading a sedentary lifestyle, not sleeping enough,
endocrine disruptors, such as some foods that interfere with lipid metabolism, smoking,
and by some medications etc.
As shown above, the reasons for obesity are true and acceptable by means of general
knowledge of all. But, if a baby was born with an obese body, except genetic susceptibility,
all other conditions are not worthy of consideration, because they are all connected with the
growing periods of the body of a person. If a person is too interested in taking excessive
food, we used to call it as self-greedy. If one is leading a sedentary life style, he is known as
lazy, a person who is averse to working and toiling.
According to my point of view, all these are led by genetic susceptibility as the developmen-
tal origins of Obesity are diametrically connected with the Gene. Also, this opinion has been
proved by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in their research on Prenatal and
Early Life Influences as below.
// Obesity, once thought to be little more than an unfortunate failure of will and self-restraint,
has much deeper and more complex roots. Genes clearly play a role in driving an individual’s
propensity to gain excess weight, as does the environment and gene-environment interactions.
Early-life influences, beginning with the intrauterine environment and continuing through the
first few years of life, also shape the trajectory of weight gain and body fatness throughout
the life course.
Later data showing that higher birth weight is also associated with obesity, diabetes, and
other adult diseases has helped extend this concept into the “developmental origins hypothe-
sis,” which encompasses the preconception period as well as many critical periods of fetal
and infant development. During each of these periods, several factors appear to have a sub-
stantial impact on obesity in childhood and adulthood. This article briefly outlines some of the
key prenatal and early life influences on the development of adult weight and obesity.
The warm, nutrient and hormone-rich environment of the uterus has a profound effect on fetal
development. Brief or fluctuating changes in the intrauterine environment at critical or sensi-
tive periods of the developmental process, as well as longer term alterations, could have irre-
versible, lifelong consequences. Three modifiable prenatal factors that appear to shape fetal
nutrition and health in later life are
A. the mother’s smoking habits during pregnancy;
B. the mother’s weight gain during pregnancy; and
C.the mother’s blood sugar levels during pregnancy, specifically, whether she develops preg-

nancy-related (gestational) diabetes.
It makes intuitive sense that the mother’s diet during pregnancy should also affect fetal de-
velopment and birth weight, but evidence for this is inconsistent.//

As said by Harvard Educational center, if the evidence is inconsistent for the physical rea-
sons or the natural or unnatural manner or conduct of the mother for the obesity of the
child, the reason should be a mysterious thing. Also, all mothers of obese children are not
smoking, or have weight gain or suffer from high blood sugar. On the other hand, low and
middle income countries are now facing the problem of obesity, which are linked mainly to
conditions of under-nutrition.
Some opine that this is a hereditary result. If it is so, can we find a child expert in music,
whose father is a great musician like Beethoven? Galilio Galilei was as Italian polymath, as-
tronomer, physicist engineer, philosopher, and mathematician. He has been called the
"father of observational astronomy", the "father of modern physics", the "father of
the scientific method", and the "father of science. But do we know any of his children to be
famous genii in their father's fields? Hence, hereditary or parental qualities are not neces-
sarily connected with the outcome of a child.
Hence, according to my personal point of view, the genetic susceptibility of a person should
be the most significant reason for obesity. This intensity factor has been proved by various
scientific researches on Gene, as appended below.
1) In two separate papers, published in the journal Science and in the Journal of Clinical
Investigation (JCI), researchers describe new genetic factors that could explain weight
gain in some people. This study has identified four new Genetics makers for severe
childhood Obese.[1]
2) Science shows that genetics plays a role in obesity. Genes can directly cause obesity in
disorders such as Bardet-Biedl syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome. However genes do not
always predict future health. Genes and behavior may both be needed for a person to be
overweight. In some cases multiple genes may increase one’s susceptibility for obesity and
require outside factors; such as abundant food supply or little physical activity.[2]
3) The risk of obesity is determined by not only specific genotypes but also gene-gene inter-
actions. However, there are still challenges associated with detecting gene-gene interactions
for obesity.[3]
4) Obesity is also a hallmark of several genetic syndromes caused by mutation or chromoso-

mal abnormalities, such as Prader–Willi and Bardet-Biedl syndromes. In these syndromes,
obesity is often accompanied by mental retardation, reproductive anomalies, or other prob-
lems. [4]
5) In 2008, for example, Andreasen and colleagues demonstrated that physical activity off-
sets the effects of one obesity-promoting gene, a common variant of FTO. [5]
6) Convincing evidence has recently been put forward that several fat-derived cytokines, in-
cluding the anti-inflammatory adiponectin, strongly modulate the risk of the metabolic syn-
drome and T2D associated with obesity (diabesity).[6]
7) Occurrences of monogenic types of obesity are evidence that obesity may be caused
by genetic mutations, however, as yet, only 78 cases worldwide have been attributed to
mutations of seven distinct genes. The most common forms of obesity are probably the
result of variations within a large number of genes. Sequence variations within a pool of 56
different genes have been reported as being related to obesity phenotypes, however,
only ten of those genes showed positive results in at least five different studies.[7]

8) Seven new genetic causes of obesity identified: A comprehensive research project has dis-
covered seven new flaws in the human genome that may cause obesity.Genes play an im-
portant role in the recent global upsurge in obesity.[8]

So this Astrological Study of Obesity mainly goes through the Genes. As per Medical Astrol-
ogy, human Genes are ruled by the sign Virgo, the 6th sign of the natural Zodiac, that is
the house of diseases and, in general, of health interests, maintenance and support of the
body. Also, nutrition is ruled by Virgo sign. DNA is made up of large numbers of molecules,
called nucleotides and divided into four basic types and two more sub types. These four

1) Jupiter is connected with the sub lord of the cusp that is in the sign Virgo, in all the

Jupiter the most appearing significator
Generally, Jupiter is described as a greater benefic planet for providence, fortune and be-
nevolent in all classical astrological teachings. Dr. H.L. Cornell MD, DA, says in his

"Encyclopedia of Medical Astrology" that Jupiter is the author of justice and when the rul-
ing planet at birth, Jupiter tends to make the native just, generous, kind, jovial and reli-
gious. His aspects never kill unless configured with malefics in a train of evil directions.
In Pathology, Jupiter dominates Absorption, Adipose tissues, Adrenals, Arms, Arteries, Ar-
terial blood and circulation, Heart, Blood, Blood enrichment, Blood making, Blood circula-
tion, Blood fibrin, Blood filtration, Cell development and reproduction, Fat disposition of
the body, Genito-Urinary organs, Liver, Lungs, Right Ear, Semen, Sugar in the body and
Thighs. Furthermore Jupiter gives too much; too much fat, too much blood, too much en-
ergy and heat. Jupiter rules fat and excessive fat in any body part and also cause serious
health problems and is a first class indicator of health pathology.
Judith Hill says in his "Medical Astrology (Planetary Pathology)" book, that Jupiter is not
so good in the region of Virgo. Further he says North Node (Rahu) conjunct Jupiter: Obesi-
ty, Excess cholesterol in blood and arteries, Fatty degeneration of liver and excess growth
or size in area indicated in the birth chart.
I, too, was puzzled by this benevolent planet Jupiter, who appeared for most of the serious
illnesses in my several studies published in this magazine. I have found therein that in
most cases Jupiter is retrograde or is connected with Rahu, a naturally retrograde planet.

As an addition to the above rule I would like to take the 9 th house- bhagyasthana and providential

Let us see how far and to what extent we can apply the above rule to the charts of the fourteen na-

Third House
The 3rd house rules a person's communication and correspondence, short journeys, younger brother
or sister, cousins, and neighbors, courage, heroism valor, thoughts, mental strength, inclination and

Tenth House

the 10th house is in one's profession, occupation or business. It is rightfully called the apex of the
horoscope since it denotes a person's worldly attainments achieved through name and fame, power
and prestige, credit and conduct, success and status, rank and renown, respect and reputation, and
ambition and authority. One's public life and popularity, his worldly standing in terms of material
success and his connection with people in high position should be judged from an examination of the
strength of the 10 th house.
As per Mundane or State or Political Astrology, the tenth house deals with government and its affairs
and its chief executive. It signifies the head of the State, whether the monarch or president or prime
minister, also royalty, nobility, the party in office, the national leaders, the upper level of society and
those in authority, eminent and distinguished persons and the aristocracy. It governs the nation's
honour, integrity, credit, power and status among the community of nations. This house provides the
clue to the political situation prevailing in a country. It governs all the matters signified by the indus-
tries, public enterprises and commerce ministry.
Eleventh House
The 11th house rules a person's friends, social circle, profit, gain, the income of all kinds, acquisi-
tion, desire and wishes fulfilment. The 11th house is related to friends. It stands for all those who are
allied to the native by likeness or sympathy of interest in society, community, clubs etc. It includes
well-wishers and close acquaintances. It also includes one's hopes, wishes and aspirations and their
realization. The 11th house governs success in any undertakings, whether it is in profession or busi-

The observation made—As per the rule all the four planets are connected with most of the required
houses.
From the above study, it can be observed that both the K.P rules "regarding the aspect of attaining
the highest position of any nation/state such as president/prime minister/governor etc " can safely
be followed without any hesitation. With this exercise, I once again reiterate the supremacy of our KP

there is no signification of the 7th house. Even though he is doing some small petty jobs
here and there by his education , there is no monetary benefit and, with his income, he
could not manage himself monetarily and has to depend upon others for money to manage
himself as there is no signification of the 2nd house.
PRESENT DASA:
Present dasa is of Rahu up to 10-01-2020.
Rahu signifies houses 3 and 9. Mercury, sub of Rahu, signifies houses 9 and 12. Star lord
of Mercury connects to houses 4, 5 and 8 only. It indicates no profession in Rahu dasa.
NEXT DASA:
The next dasa is of Jupiter. It is up to 2036.
Jupiter signifies houses 3, 4, 6 and 10. Rahu, the sub of Jupiter, signifies houses 3, 4, 5, 6,

The question was solved by me on 15/07/2017 at 15.20 in Mumbai and the ruling planets
are given below:
Lagna - Vrischik Mangal
Star - Uttarabhadrapada Shani (R)
Rashi - Meen Guru
Day - Saturday Shani
If Ravi is in ruling planets the birth time is in morning and if Chandra is in ruling planets
the birth time is in the evening or night. If both Ravi and Chandra come as ruling planets
then which planet is stronger is seen and accordingly the birth time is decided. In this case
neither Ravi nor Chandra have come in ruling planets, so I decided to see the planetary po-
sition and Lagna chart at the time of question to find out whether Ravi or Chandra can be
included as ruling planet.
I am giving below certain points regarding use of ruling planets :

Planets which are retrograde and planets which are in the star of retrograde planets should
be rejected from ruling planets because retrograde planets do not give results till they ac-
quire direct motion.
Planets in conjunction with planets which are in ruling should be taken as ruling planets.
Planets which are in the star of planets which are in ruling should be taken as ruling plan-
ets.
Planets which are aspecting the planets which are in ruling should be taken as ruling plan-
ets.
Planets aspecting the 1st house should be taken as ruling planets.
Planets in the 1st house in the cusp chart should be taken as ruling planets.
Now let us analyse whether Ravi or Chandra can be taken as ruling planet to confirm the
birth time.
Chandra :
Chandra is in the star of Shani which is a ruling planet but retrograde at the time of ques-
tion. We have to reject Shani and Chandra cannot be included as a ruling planet. If Shani
was in direct motion then Chandra which is in its star could have been taken as a ruling
planet.
Ravi :
Ravi is in the star of Guru which is a ruling planet and in direct motion. If we see the plan-
etary position we come to know that Ravi is in Mithuna rashi - 29-06 and Mangal is in Kar-
ka rashi – 02-42. Both the planets are in conjunction and Mangal is a ruling planet. Here

Ravi can be included as a ruling planet for two reasons i.e. it is in the star of Guru and in
conjunction with Mangal and both these planets have come in ruling. I confirmed that the
birth time of the native is 9.00 a.m.
Dhanu lagna is rising on 12.12.1977 at 9.00 a.m. at Swaroopganj and Karka lagna at
21.00 p.m. Guru is a ruling planet while Chandra by no means can be included as a ruling
planet which again confirms that the birth time of the native is in the morning at 9.00 a.m.

Brief description:-
The menstrual cycle is the regular natural change that occurs in the female reproductive system
(specifically the uterus and ovaries) that makes pregnancy possible. The cycle is required for the pro-
duction of ovocytes, and for the preparation of the uterus for pregnancy. The menstrual cycle is gov-
erned by hormonal changes. These changes can be altered by using hormonal birth control to prevent
pregnancy. Each cycle can be divided into three phases based on events in the ovary (ovarian cycle)
or in the uterus (uterine cycle).
The ovarian cycle consists of the follicular phase, ovulation, and luteal phase whereas the uterine
cycle is divided into menstruation, proliferative phase, and secretory phase.

Stimulated by gradually increasing amounts of estrogen in the follicular phase, discharges of blood
(menses) flow stop, and the lining of the uterus thickens. Follicles in the ovary begin developing un-
der the influence of a complex interplay of hormones, and after several days one or occasionally two
become dominant (non-dominant follicles shrink and die). Approximately mid-cycle, 24–36 hours af-
ter the luteinizing hormone (LH) surges, the dominant follicle releases an ovocyte, in an event called
ovulation. After ovulation, the ovocyte only lives for 24 hours or less without fertilization while the
remains of the dominant follicle in the ovary become a corpus luteum; this body has a primary func-
tion of producing large amounts of progesterone. Under the influence of progesterone, the uterine
lining changes to prepare for potential implantation of an embryo to establish a pregnancy. If implan-
tation does not occur within approximately two weeks, the corpus luteum will involute, causing a
sharp drop in levels of both progesterone and estrogen. The hormone drop causes the uterus to shed
its lining in a process termed menstruation.
Menstrual disorders
Infrequent or irregular ovulation is called oligoovulation. The absence of ovulation is called anovula-
tion. Normal menstrual flow can occur without ovulation preceding it, an anovulatory cycle. In some
cycles, follicular development may start but not be completed; nevertheless, estrogens will be formed
and stimulate the uterine lining. Anovulatory flow resulting from a very thick endometrium caused
by prolonged, continued high estrogen levels is called estrogen breakthrough bleeding. Anovulatory
bleeding triggered by a sudden drop in estrogen levels is called withdrawal bleeding. Anovulatory cy-
cles commonly occur before menopause (perimenopause) and in women with polycystic ovary syn-
drome.
Very little flow (less than 10 ml) is called hypomenorrhea. Regular cycles with intervals of 21 days or
fewer are polymenorrhea; frequent but irregular menstruation is known as metrorrhagia. Sudden
heavy flows or amounts greater than 80 ml are termed menorrhagia. Heavy menstruation that oc-
curs frequently and irregularly is menometrorrhagia. The term for cycles with intervals exceeding 35
days is oligomenorrhea. Amenorrhea refers to more than three to six months without menses (while
not being pregnant) during a woman's reproductive years.

Polycystic Ovarian Disease
Patients suffering from polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) have multiple small cysts in their ovaries
(the word poly means many). These cysts occur when the regular changes of a normal menstrual cy-
cle are disrupted. The ovary is enlarged; and produces excessive amounts of androgen and estrogenic
hormones. This excess, along with the absence of ovulation, may cause infertility. Other names for
PCOD are Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) or the Stein-Leventhal syndrome.
We are trying to analyze Menstrual Cycle and related complications on the basis of KP Astrology.
How to judge:-
◊ Generative organs of a lady are ruled by Libra and Scorpio Signs, VIIth and VIIIth Houses and
Venus & Mars. Let us check these for any abnormality.

The KPDP marriage matching rules framed by Shri K.P. Kuppu Ganapathi cover 10 mar-
riage compatibility criteria of the horoscopes of a boy and a girl, including:
KPDP No. 8: Likelihood of marriage with this boy and girl

The ruling planets of the boy at the time of birth should be the significators for 2.7.11 for
the girl and vice-versa.
KPDP No. 10: Whether the period lords operating at the time of matching in both charts in-
dicate desirability for matching for marriage
By Kanak Bosmia’s experience of KDPD marriage matching, the KPDP criterion no. 10 score
is more important than the overall matching score, and more than 50% score of the criteri-
on no. 10 is preferable for marriage matching in order to prevent the possibility of separa-
tion or divorce.

In this book it’s truly said that in KP there is no exaltation or debilitation, no manglik dosha, no kaal
sarpa dosha (p 54), and original five ruling planets are used (p 152). But some variations have been

relation to other houses, depending on the nature of question. (p15)”; more application of aspects of
weak grade E significator and retro; and use of two separate Northern style Rasi chart and Bhava
