Upon motion of Councilor Ernesto S. Mercado, duly seconded, the following Municipal Ordinance
was enacted:

MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 92-034

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING HONORARIA TO OFFICIALS OF THE DENR-

NCR (LANDS SECTOR) AND THE LAND REGISTRATION AUTHORITY, IN
CONNECTION WITH SERVICES RENDERED AND TO BE RENDERED IN
THE TITLING AND DISTRIBUTION OF LANDS AT FORT BONIFACIO,
COVERED BY PRES. PROC. 2475, AS AMENDED BY PROC. 518, AT RATES
THAT HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE LOCAL COA AUDIT
UNIT OFFICE, AND FURTHER AUTHORZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER
INTO MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE, SUBJECT TO
ALL LEGAL AND AUDITING RULES AND PROCEDURES.

WHEREAS, by the virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 2475 as amended by Proc 518, the
distribution and titling of lands at Fort Bonifacio covered by said clause started in 1987 and is still
continuing;

WHEREAS, this awesome problem of land titling is satisfactorily being carried out under the
combined efforts of the officials of the DENR-NCR (Land Sector), the Land Registration Authority
and the Office of the Mayor of Makati;

WHEREAS, as a token recognition of this efforts of the officials of the DENR-NCR and Land
Registration Authority and in this enormous task of land titling distribution, the local government of
Makati, with the approval of local Municipal Audit Unit Office, have given said officials honorarium;

WHEREAS, the sanction of this Body being sought for the continued grant of honorarium to the said
national officials at the same rate as those previously approved by the local COA Office; so

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, AS IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED, to grant honoraria

to officials of DENR-NCR (Land Sector) and Land Registration Authority, in connection with
services rendered and to be rendered in the titling and distribution of lands at Fort Bonifacio, covered
by Pres. Proc. 2475 as amended by Proc. 518 at rates that has been previously approved by the local
COA Audit Unit Office, and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into contract for the purpose,
subject to all legal and auditing rules and procedures.
