This session is a professional learning experience designed with learners in mind. Designing in
house professional learning experiences is paramount it the successful implementations of
technology. Understanding the WHY first leads to a desire to learn more and learn how. What we
find in most cases is there is no foundation in why and it becomes technology for technology's
sake.

Facing the challenges of funding technology is a challenge for companies and schools.
Professional Learning experiences to maximize the investment are often lost or not considered in
the planning.

The Joy of Professional Learning is a series of recipe books to inspire professional learning
experiences that transcend the tradition sit and get. These recipes can be the guide to engaging
learners in experiences that are memorable and answer the “why”.
