Introduction

This document has been created in order to provide an organised approach to the rules
and guidelines of Project Seventy. Many people breaking rules recently have claimed
ignorance to knowing what the rules were. Hence, this document aims to provide the
communication that may not have been possible before.

We would recommend that you read this entire document to gain a full understanding
of the project. Also, please check the rule list at least once a week, as changes may incur
(though notice will be expressly given on here). The dates and the nature of each change
will be clearly displayed throughout this document.

Polling
It is possible that in the event of an important decision, officers may call upon guild
members to vote in a StrawPoll. Open (and closed) polls will be displayed here, as well
as possibly announced via guild MoTD or information. Please check this section
frequently if you wish to have your say!

The Rules and Guidelines of Project Seventy
Here is a complete list of the official rules and guidelines of Project Seventy. If a rule is
changed or added, it will be marked in green, and will remain so for 7 days. The change
will also be noted in the Changelog at the bottom of this section.

It should also be noted that accidents do happen. The Officers will take this into
consideration when dealing with a broken rule. For example, if you accidentally buy
Riding that you’re not supposed to, contact an Officer straight away, and they will
resolve the issue! These rules are to make the project immersive and exciting for
everyone, so please follow them!

● Master Riding (310% Flying Mount), Flight Master’s License (Azeroth Flying),
Cold Weather Flying & Wisdom of the Four Winds are NOT allowed in any
circumstance. If you accidentally train any of these, contact an officer
immediately.
● Utility Mounts (repair mounts, passenger mounts, water walking mounts etc) are
completely banned. If seen on one, you will be kicked from the guild.

Travel: Summons, Portals & Zones

Warlock Summons ARE allowed. Summoning Stones ARE NOT allowed. This is to
promote the open world and show how big it actually is.

You may take mage and world portals freely, with the following exceptions:

● Dalaran portals are banned.

● Tol Barad portals are banned.
● Vale of Eternal Blossoms portals are banned.
● ALL portals to zones not available in The Burning Crusade are banned.

Do not travel to any zones outside of Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, and Outland. This
also includes level 80+ Cataclysm zones (e.g. Twilight Highlands).

Travel:Summons, Portals & Zones last updated: 12/5/17

Leveling: Quests & Dungeons
Although the Cataclysm expansion completely overhauled the quests and zones in
Azeroth, you may level up in them through questing as before. You may also enter and
complete any Classic/TBC dungeon (excluding Magister’s Terrace for now), including the
quests inside them.

● Heirlooms of ANY kind are not allowed. Do not create them, buy them, equip
them, or use them. If you do, you’ll be kicked.
● EXP multipliers are not allowed. These include potions, Recruit a Friend etc. The
only EXP modifier that is allowed is the WoW’s 13th Anniversary XP buff.
● You may not group with anyone outside of the official Project Seventy guilds.
● The use of the Random or Specific Dungeon Finder is not allowed. Only guild
groups may complete dungeons. Dungeon summons are also not allowed. Each
player must walk to the dungeon entrance.
● Boosts are allowed within the guild ONLY.

Core, BWL, AQ etc).
● 13th Anniversary World boss gear is NOT allowed.
● Armor Reducing Weapons are NOT allowed.
● Level 58+ vendor gear from non-reputation sources is NOT allowed (e.g. Badge of

Professions & Trading
The Rules regarding professions:

● Inscription and Archaeology are NOT allowed!

● Do not learn Grand Master in any profession (375+). The TBC cap is 375 (Master).
● Do not learn or use any WotLK recipes/formulae. These are fairly obvious as they
require WotLK materials (e.g. Infinite Dust).
● Epic and Rare gems are not allowed. Meta Gems ARE allowed.
● Do not use the Darkmoon Faire to level professions!

The Rules regarding trading:

● You may only trade with guild members.

● You can not accept ANYTHING from anyone outside the guild.
● If you think an item or material has not been legitimately obtained, report the
person responsible to an officer.

The Rules regarding the Auction House:

● The Auction House IS allowed, HOWEVER:

● You are only allowed to buy Classic/TBC materials for Gear & Professions.
● Do NOT buy any item with an item level above 115. Wearing it will result in a
gkick. Please be careful.
● All crafted items must have been made by a guild member ONLY.
● WoW Tokens are NOT allowed to be bought/sold.

Why is the Auction House suddenly allowed?

The officers have decided to allow the use of the Auction House in order to avoid giving
advantages to players abusing alts and mail. When viewing the AH, it was obvious that
all relevant materials were being bought out. As they can not track players through
alternate characters, the officers can not punish or identify anyone. Therefore, in order
for it to be a level playing field, the Auction House has now been allowed for everyone
(with the limitations discussed above).

restoration druid are allowed, BUT three feral druids (or any other specialization)
is NOT allowed.
● You may not enter any heroic or raid that you have not progressed to. This is
discussed in the next section.
● No armor reducing weapons.
● No previous expansion raiding gear. (MC/BWL/AQ)
● Magisters Terrace (MGT) is now fully allowed for both normal and heroic

Changelog
11/18/2017 - Original write-up - Serendepitys
11/20/2017 - Made Kara 5man for consistency after clearing heroics
11/21/2017 - Unbanned pet lust, enhance is seemingly strong enough it doesn't specifically
need lust to be brought and allowing pet lust is less restricting on raid comps.
11/21/2017 - Banning Ray of Frost. Without Ray of Frost mages still are a Top Tier class doing
around 10k DPS. It is not healthy for the project to have Ray of Frost mages dealing 12k DPS
however. This ban is only for Raid content. For dungeons please feel free to use whatever talents
you wish
11/21/2017 - Banned jewelcrafting BoP gems. The original idea was it would be a nice bonus of
stats for people willing to level the profession, but the power difference is to strong with only
allowing green quality gems.
11/22/2017 - Banning Discipline Priests in raid content. With disc existing class diversity among
healers is non existent. With banning Disc priest options open up much more for
Rdruid/Rshaman/Hpally to all see more play.
