So, the SEED of PRESERVATION is that offering or sacrifice you laid down for God which speaks
for you in the day of calamity
c) King David
And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer
burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So, David bought the
threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. And David built there an altar unto the LORD,
and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So, the LORD was intreated for the land, and the
plague was stayed from Israel. (2Sa 24:24-25)
King David was able to stop a NATIONAL DISASTER because he raised a costly sacrifice to God. So
his seed preserved his kingdom.
d) Saints
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And
the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. (Psa. 50:5-6)
The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee
help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept
thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
(Psa 20:1-4)
e) Cornelius
He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and
saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord?
And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
(Act 10:3-4)
The Angelic visitation to Cornelius was because of HIS PRAYERS AND HIS ALMS (OFFERINGS) which
had become a MEMORIAL (ALTAR) before God.
How to give your SEED OF PRESERVATION.
a) As God lays in your heart:
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God
loveth a cheerful giver. (2Co 9:7)
God loves a CHEERFUL GIVER meaning you give with joy and gladness of heart.
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his
countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance
fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the
door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. (Gen 4:5-7)
