legislations, judgments and legal policies are discussed and given a dested and fruitful
ehape with a holistic approach 9 serve the wine uf juste
Substance: The ILR secks to publish legal writings of a scholarly nature. Clarity of
“ought and expression is mandatory. The inleriscplinery approach on legal issues from
specialist of other dseplines is also weleome. Though there are no hard und fast eules
{ar scholarship, but the editorial policy suggests tha generally the articles will be 8000-
10,000 words which will either develop theory or applied law on research findings. A
‘comment isa shorter version of 4,000-5000 words which discusses a legal issue, ease law
or legal policy expressing comment on the flaw (i any) and offering. right (in the
‘pinion of the author) direction on the highlighted isue, Notes and reviews are of
descriptive summary of a judgment, new legislation, and legal poliey with the
contemporary importance in soa or legal context. A book review also fll inthe same
category.
