Abstract

Based on Government Performance Accountability Performance Report

(LAKIP), the economic display of Bantul states that the tourism sector is the most
strategic sector that supports economical acceleration such as hotel. As long tourist
attractions, the growth of hotels in Bantul Regency began to grow, but the growth is
only concentrated in certain areas, it is necessary an accommodation provide to
build hotel in order to support tourism. The purpose of making the map is to find out
the hotel growth information in Bantul District. The hotel growth map located in
Bantul Regency is made by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS).
Research on the pattern of hotel growth in Bantul Regency took a period of 5 years,
2011-2015. This study aims to Develop Geographic Information System Growth
Hotels Web Based Information In Bantul District.

The system development model used is waterfall including system requirement

identification, system design, system implementation, system testing and system
improvement. Identification of needs include functional and non-functional
requirements, while design includes data flow diagram design (DFD), database
design, and interface design or user interface. The test used is a black box that
focuses on the functional requirements of the software, therefore black box testing
allows software developers to create a set of inputs that will train all the functional
requirements of a system. Based on black box testing, SIG hotel in Bantul Regency
functioned as the scenario specified

The result of the research shows the location of star hotel only in Sewon District
whereas the location of non star hotel is only centered in eight districts namely
Srandakan, Sanden, Kretek, Piyungan, Banguntapan, Sewon, Kasihan, and
Pajangan. From the analysis classification of growth of hotel to be three that is
category of low growth (0-2 hotel per year), medium growth category (3-6 hotel per
year), and high growth category (7-12 hotel per year). This research is especially
expected to facilitate the government to know the hotel growth information in Bantul
regency and generally for investors as alternative study materials that want to
establish a hotel in Bantul regency.
