STARGAZING

Above this green terra firma

Finds the white points of the milk drop

That spread across millions upon Millions

Like the grains in the sand

Oh! How much it has been the desire

Of this but an insignificant speck

To meet with his own perceptive orbs

That boundless remoteness of the cosmic

Like a child reaching for his marbles

Those transient marmoreal snowballs

Yet! One cannot fail the feel of wonderment

Of orbs that cruise the firmament

If I had one wish before I die

To cruise this distant world but

To Earth I would forever cling!

BROKEN

A brown bench sits a youthful lad

With head bowed like a religious ceremony

Hands that conceal the nape of the neck

A blue short-sleeved casual top

Well-bleached trousers with tied shoes

It is a sunny morning at the best

A cheerful tree that saps the life

The light of the sun that provides

Sunflowers with lost petals

A carton of brown box sweets

Is partaken of by thousands of emmet

Miniature volumes of liquid water

Fall unto the ground along with some sound

It’s 9:30 in this beautiful morning

There is a garbage can that seems full
