    To whom it may concern,

    In behalf of Abegail Martirez, we the BSED-English third year students humbly ask permission
    in your good office to excuse the subject under consideration about her absences for the
    following days February 23-26 (Thursday to Saturday). This is due to the unpleasant occurrence
    about the sudden passing away of her younger brother Niko Martirez. The entire family is in
    outright grief at this juncture and Abegail would not be able to concentrate in the examination if
    she be present in the class.
