The give data related to Asian business school has eleven parameters. Along with the
name of 25 business schools, the full time enrollment, students per faculty, local tuition,
foreign tuition, age, % of foreign students, requirement of GMAT score, requirement of
English test, requirement of work experience, and starting salary had been given. The
objective of the analysis is to discuss the important findings.

The full time enrollment is lowest (12) Macquarie Graduate School of Management,
Sydney, and highest (463) in Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. The average full
time enrollment is 165.16. The minimum student per faculty is found in Hong Kong
University of Science & Technology as well as Australian National University. The
maximum student per faculty is observed in University of Adelaide. The average student
per faculty is 8.48. The minimum local tuition fee is $1000, charged by Jamnalal Bajaj
Institute of Management Studies, Bombay and maximum local tuition fee is $33060,
charged by International University of Japan, Niigata. The average local tuition fee is
$12375. The minimum foreign tuition fee is $1000, charged by Jamnalal Baja Institute of
Management Studies and highest foreign tuition fee is $33060, and charged by
International Institute of Japan. The average foreign tuition fee is $16582.

The minimum age for admission in the business school is 22 years, as recommended by
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and maximum age for admission in the
business school is 37 years, recommended by Massey University. The average age for
admission is 28.36 years. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and Indian
Institute of Management, Calcutta has 0% of foreign students, whereas, Asian Institute of
Management, Bangkok has the highest percentage of foreign students (90%). There are
number of schools who require work experience for students for admission, and certain
schools do not require work experience. Schools requiring work experience has higher
starting salary compared to schools requiring no work experience.

The following points are concluded so far.


 There is no difference between local and foreign tuition costs.
 Starting salary of schools requiring work experience is higher compared to
starting salary of schools without work experience.
 There is no difference in mean starting salary for schools requiring English test
and schools not requiring English test.

The following scatter plot shows the relationship between local tuition fees and starting
salary.

Figure 3-3CP shows that as local tuition fees increases, the starting salary also increases.
This indicates a positive linear relationship between the variables.
