INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2017

The Chief Fire Officer Roosevelt Bruce (Acting) wishes to extend his appreciation to all the

women attached to the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (both uniform and non-uniform

personnel/staff) for their contribution over the years, adding to the organization’s growth in

many ways.

Special mention must be made of the pioneers, the females who were the first to be initiated into

the Service on December 01, 1992; the service has indeed been enriched because of their

inclusion. Their commitment and resilience must be applauded, as it has elevated many into

leadership roles.

Today, especially being International Women’s Day we commemorate our women in the Service

and their role in Society.
