Description Voltages, Measurement of High Voltages, Applications of Insulating Materials,
Non-destructive Testing of Materials & Electrical Apparatus, General High Voltage
Testing of Power System Equipment., Electrical Properties of High Vacuum.

Upon completion of this course, students will:


 Understand the basic concept of high voltage engineering qualitatively and
Expected wherever possible quantitatively.
Outcomes  Be exposed to formal training on high voltage technology
 Become familiar with high voltage phenomenon together with principles
governing design of high voltage insulation
