Objectives : By the end of the lesson pupils will be

able to:

a) Talk about stimulus with guidance,

b) Name at least three things which can be
found in respective rooms in a house.

Teaching Aids : word cards, pictures and worksheet

Activities : 1. Teacher starts the lesson by showing

a picture of rooms in a

house.

2. Pupils listen to the

questions asked and talk about

rooms in a house and

things which can be found in

respective rooms.

3. Then, by looking at the

word cards shown, pupils read

the words repeatedly.

4. In groups of five,
pupils get a tree map and pictures

of things in rooms from

the teacher.

5. Pupils cut and paste the

pictures according to the respective

rooms.

6. Pupils carry out the

activity while teacher walk around the

class.

7. After the matching

activity, pupils talk about the tree map

with peers in groups.

8. Teacher concludes the

lesson by giving worksheets to the

pupils as homework.

Reflection :

The objectives of the lesson are achieved. The

lesson went quite well. Pupils participated actively in the

beginning of the lesson where they were asked to name rooms in

a house and things in rooms. The interactions between pupils

in doing group activity went really well. They were able to

follow the instructions given perfectly and carry out the

activity cooperatively. Pupils were able to name at least

three things which can be found in rooms with peers.
