I seek to better facilitate student learning in the area of English. I identify myself as an enthusiastic educator committed to
student development and the learning experience. Skilled in the design of challenging and innovative activities that
address the diverse interests and needs of students, I take pride in my exceptional communication skills and ability to
present material in a variety of ways, always emphasizing relevance of classroom material to the world outside. Through
collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community members, I seek to create a learning environment that fosters
continued student success beyond the walls of my classroom.

classroom management, multicultural awareness, student-centered learning, student assessment, College Board AP
English Language certified, teaching 21st century skills (Microsoft programs, Google Apps and Classroom, iPad and
