Writing
During our writing workshop, We will continue to
write different types of compare and contrast essays, focusing on comparing themes from two stories. We will also be focusing on Non- Fiction Narratives. We eventually come back to on Bringing History to Life. In this unit, students are writing an informational book, which includes four chapters.
Students are learning how to write a strong thesis
based on historical events and various points of views. They support their thesis with reasons and evidence from the text.
