I burned about 5000 calories over this 3 day period. I consumed 7,220 calories.
I should eat vegetables and more fruit, my normal eating habits see not healthy and consist
almost primarily of carbs.

Every living organism needs energy to function and they get that energy through food.
Metabolism is the chemical reaction that occurs within humans. These reactions include growth
and movement, which helps maintain homeostasis.
The recommended amount of unsaturated fats a day is 40-62 grams. This is recommended
because unsaturated fats provide energy for the body. On average, I eat about 68 grams of
unsaturated fats. I eat a little over the amount, so I should cut down on a few snacks. People
need Unsaturated fats because they are associated with good health and help your muscles
stay strong.
In conclusion, I should eat vegetables, fruit, and protein, my normal eating habits see not
healthy and consist almost primarily of sweets, fats, and oils. I need to subtract most of the
sweets that I consume. My carbohydrate intake is just about the recommended, so I don’t have
to change anything there. This food journal has helped me realize my terrible eating habits and
what measures I need to take in order to be healthy.
