Wound infection is one of the main problems in surgery. In last 20 years the
number of patients for surgery in the world has risen sharply, and there are two
cases in Balikpapan. The purpose of writing this report the Scientific Writing was
to know and gain a real picture in providing nursing care at Ny Client. N with
wound dehiscence in Hospital Kanudjoso Balikpapan, room Flamboyan A, since
6-8 July 2015. Used descriptive method with a case study was approach to the
type of nursing process which includes the steps of assessment, nursing diagnosis,
planning, implementation, and evaluation. The collection of data directly from the
client obtained through observation, interviews, and physical examination.
Interviews were conducted directly to the client. The data has been obtained,
validated contained on the status of the client (doctors and nurses noted). Results
of nursing problems found in Ny. N is an infection, ineffective peripheral tissue
perfusion, impaired physical mobility and anxious. Implementation of nursing
actions performed continuously for 3 x 24 hours through monitoring or
observation of the client's condition, direct nursing actions, health education and
collaboration with other health team of the four nursing problems were resolved
partly. All these and there were already insurmountable, on the implementation of
nursing care that has been done. Conclusion that in giving nursing care clients
with wound dehiscence should consider bio, psycho, social, and spiritual, so that
optimal service can be realized thorough and continuous. Suggestions regular
monitoring nutritional intake to met the needs of the body and the necessary
drugs, do control to health centers in case of indication.
