Suhaib reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said:

Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is
not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an
occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he
gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good
for him in it. [Sahih Muslim Hadith #2999]

َ ‫ أَمَّا َمنْ َك‬،ُ‫َو َندَ ُع ْال َع َم َل َقا َل " اعْ َملُوا َف ُكل ُميَسَّ ٌر لِ َما ُخل َِق لَس‬
.‫َّق ِب ْالحُسْ َنى} اآل َي َة‬ َ ‫صد‬ َ ‫ ُث َّ َق َرأَ { َفأَمَّا َمنْ أَعْ َطى َوا َّت َقى * َو‬." ‫هْل ال َّش َقا ِء َف ُييَسَّ ُر ل َِع َم ِل أَهْ ِل ال َّش َق َاو ِة‬
ِ َ‫ان مِنْ أ‬ َ ‫َمنْ َك‬

Narrated `Ali:While the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬was in a funeral procession. he picked up

something and started scraping the ground with it, and said, "There is none among
you but has his place written for him either in the Hell Fire or in Paradise." They said,
"O Allah's Messenger (‫ !)ﷺ‬Shall we not depend upon what has been written for
us and give up deeds? He said, "Carry on doing (good) deeds, for everybody is
facilitated for what has been created for him. So he who was from the people of
happiness (i.e. in Paradise), he is facilitated to be able to do deeds of people of
happiness. And whoever was of the people of misery (i.e. in Hell-fire), so it is made
easy for him the deeds of people of misery (‫)ﷺ‬.” Then he recited: "As for him who
gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, and believes in Al-Husna.

‫‪We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). But he who is a greedy‬‬
‫‪miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. And denies Al-Husna. We will make smooth‬‬

‫‪Ibn 'Abbas narrated:‬‬
‫‪"I was behind the Prophet(s.a.w) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you a‬‬
‫‪statement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you‬‬
‫‪will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek‬‬
‫‪Allah's aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something‬‬
‫‪to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for‬‬
‫‪you. And if they were to gather to do something to harm you- you would never be‬‬
‫‪harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are‬‬
‫"'‪dried.‬‬
‫‪Sunan Tirmidhi, Tirmidhi classed it as a sound authentic hadith.‬‬

‫ُت َع َلى َغي ِْر‬ ‫صا َب َك لَ ْ َي ُكنْ لِي ُْخطِ َئ َك َوأَنَّ َما أَ ْخ َطأ َ َك لَ ْ َي ُكنْ لِيُصِ ي َب َك ‪َ .‬وأَ َّن َك إِنْ م َّ‬ ‫دَر ‪َ .‬ف َتعْ لَ َ أَنَّ َما أَ َ‬ ‫َح َّتى ُت ْؤم َِن ِب ْال َق ِ‬
‫َّللا َف َسأ َ ْل ُت ُس َف َذ َك َر م ِْث َل َما َقا َل أ ُ َبى‬ ‫ْت َعبْدَ َّ ِ‬ ‫َّللا ب َْن َمسْ عُو ٍد َف َتسْ أَلَ ُس ‪َ .‬فأ َ َتي ُ‬ ‫ْك أَنْ َتأْت َِي أَخِي َعبْدَ َّ ِ‬ ‫ار َوالَ َعلَي َ‬ ‫ت ال َّن َ‬ ‫َه َذا دَ َخ ْل َ‬

ِ ‫َّللا َما َق ِبلَ ُس ِم ْن َك َح َّتى ُت ْؤم َِن ِب ْال َق‬
" ‫ار‬ َ ‫ُت َعلَى َغي ِْر َه َذا دَ َخ ْل‬
َ ‫ت ال َّن‬ َّ ‫أَ ْخ َطأ َ َك لَ ْ َي ُكنْ لِيُصِ ي َب َك َوأَ َّن َك إِنْ م‬
It was narrated that Ibn Dailami said: ‘…Zaid ibn Thabit said: 'I heard the Messenger
of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬say: "… know that whatever has befallen you, could not have
passed you by; and whatever has passed you by, could not have befallen you; …"

ِ ‫َّللا إِنَّ َش َرائ َِع‬ ِ َّ ‫َعنْ َع ْب ِد‬
ِ ‫َّللا ب‬
‫ِيث َح َسنٌ َغ ِريبٌ مِنْ َه َذا‬ ٌ ‫يسى َه َذا َحد‬ َ
َ ِ‫ َقا َل أبُو ع‬. " ‫َّللا‬ ُ ‫ِب َشيْ ٍء أَ َت َشب‬
ِ َّ ‫ َقا َل " الَ َي َزا ُل ل َِسا ُن َك َر ْطبًا مِنْ ِذ ْك ِر‬. ‫َّث ِب ِس‬
]‫ [سنن الترمذي وابن ماجس وصححس األلباني‬. ‫ْال َوجْ ِس‬

`Abdullah bin Busr (ra) narrated that:

A man said: “O Messenger of Allah (‫)ﷺ‬, indeed, the legislated acts of Islam have
become too much for me, so inform me of a thing that I should stick to.” He (‫)ﷺ‬
said: “Let not your tongue cease to be moist with the remembrance of Allah.”

َ " ‫ َف َقا َل‬. ‫ت َب َلى‬ ِ ‫ َعلَى َك ْن ٍز مِنْ ُك ُن‬- ‫َقا َل‬

Abu Musa Ash'ari reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said to him:

Should I not direct you to the words from the treasures of Paradise, or he said: Like
a treasure from the treasures of Paradise? I said: Of course, do that. Thereupon he
said:" Laa hawla wala quwwata illa billah: There is no might and no power but that
of Allah."
