fluctuations, impact of seasonality, review the cost components impacting freights.

 Formulated service level agreements for the service providers on various parameters & evaluated vendor
performance against such parameters periodically to facilitate performance discussion reviews.

 Freight negotiation based on customized transportation cost sheet and other reference benchmark, ensuring the
effective implantation of the contract's terms and conditions and annual revision and rationalization of
contract/freight rate based on escalation diesel clause and general inflation.

 Facilitate the smooth processing & execution of Export Sales Orders & Import Purchase Orders, maximizing
Export benefits under EXIM Policy, minimizing import duties and transaction costs.

 To custom clear the goods with Prior filing of Bill of Entry before vessel/aircraft arrival to avoid high demurrages
is charged by customs / port trust/airport if cargo is not cleared within stipulated period..
 Facilitate smooth processing & execution of Export Sales Orders & Import Purchase Orders; maximising Export
benefits under EXIM Policy, minimizing import duties minimizing transaction costs with optimized time and
quality.

 To be responsible for all strategies and procedures are in line with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)
standards ensuring safety compliance for sub-contracted services(LTISR, LTIFR)

INBOUND & OUTBOUND LOGISTICS

 Transportation & Distribution - Planning & handling of Primary & Secondary transportation - Long haul , Milk run,
Hub and Spoke & JIT Logistics.
 Attending to & redressing any discrepancies in shipping/delivery to customers/branches all over by effective &
efficient operation and thereby maximizing utilization of available resources.

 Co -ordinating with the Unit and Outbound logistic for the proper deliver of the resultant product and declaration of
the same in the Export shipping bill.

 Analyzing and optimizing Logistics Cost & Performance of Lead Logistics provider

 Ensure Logistics operations team (Lead Logistics provider) deliver optimum quality, service efficiencies and cost
optimization according to customer commitments and projects.

 Ability to manage cross-functional interfaces (Operations, Air and Ocean Freight, LSPs &3PL,4PL).

 Negotiate and conclude 3 PL / 4 PL contracts (CSA and C&F).

 Devising methodology as deployment of axles & its load calculation, lashing method with calculations &
drawings(CAD), load distribution stability calculation of cargo on vehicle/Barge, bridge strength calculation.
 Enroute NHAI/RTO/PWD clearances use of temporary facilities viz Ro-Ro, Barging, By-pass roads etc all
confirming to the relevant provisions of MV Act.

Port Congestion Surcharge, War Risk Premium, Basic Freight
 Commercial fixing a vessel. Critically analyses the vessel details and other technicalities of vessel to judge that
vessel offered by the vessel owners or Agent fully meet the requirement.
 Preparation of documentation (Charter Party, Bills of lading, Letter of Indemnity, Freight invoices, broker
commission invoices, Demurrage calculation, demurrage invoices, etc).
 Finalise Charter Parties and Cargo Fixture Notes / Contracts and oversee all post fixture matters and managing
operation of voyage from fixing till completion of discharge and final settlement of lay-time.

 Trip Optimisation resulting lower transport cost in milk run outward shipment and collection of engineering
spares, consumables etc(OEMs, repaired/Refurbishing items, transport warehouses collections) from various
vendors, transport warehousing, repair/fabrication shops .

 Disintegration of milk run process into four diverse geographical areas in Mumbai, in each cluster 50000 sq .ft
covered warehouse was hired to manage returns and consolidation planning purpose.

 Trip Maximisation through optimisation of TAT in transportation in the sector like Roha-Dolvi, Pen-Dolvi,
Nagothane –Dolvi etc. ( Logistics Cost Reduced, logistics volume increased).

 Daily about 400 numbers of trailors were planned, placed, loaded, documentation, weighment and exit was done
a 4 hrs of logistics operation was reduced to 1 hr.
