7,5% Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution )
- 15,0% b/v Cetrimide

Solubility in water Mixes with water in all proportions

Rinse small amounts to the sanitary sewer drain with plenty of water
Mop up spills and rinse area thoroughly with water

FIRST AID PROCEDURES

If ingested
 Do not induce vomiting
 Rinse mouth with water before drink two glasses of water
 Contact physician or Poison Control Center.
 Do not give anything by mouth to unconscious person

If in eyes
Rinse out promptly and thoroughly with water
If irritation persist contact physician

If on ears
Rinse out promptly and thoroughly with water
If irritation persist contact physician

INDICATIONS
ODEX is used for cleansing skin, wounds, and burns, and it used for surgical
instruments or clinical thermometer disinfections with an exceptional ability to kill
wide range of microorganisms ( gram positive, negative, viruses & fungi ).
Chlorhexidine gluconate is active ingredient and cetrimide is a detergent which
increases the penetration of chlorhexidine.

PRECAUTIONS

For Antiseptic
1. For external use only
2. Do not use in eyes, mouth and ears
3. It has been reported to cause deafness when instilled in the middle ear
through perforated eardrums
4. If adverse reactions occur, this product should be promptly discontinued. If
condition persist for more than 72 hours, consult a physician
5. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children

For disinfection of surgical instruments

1. Do not use for metal instruments unless stainless steel
2. For cleansing tubing and needle, rinse with sterile water
