2. What is the World Wide Web, when was it created, and how was it created?
The World Wide Web is an information system on the Internet that allows
documents to be connected to other documents, enabling the user to search for
information by moving from one document to another. It was created in 1989 by Tim
Berners-Lee, and it was created originally to allow the sharing of information between
scientists in universities and intuitions around the world. However, it was the invention
of the “Transmission Control Protocol” and “Internet Protocol” (TCP/IP) by Vinton Cerf
that introduced distant and different computers to each other in a virtual space.
