BISHOP FLORES SCHOLARS FUND: Important reminder: The deadline to apply for the Bishop
Flores Scholars Fund is almost here. February 28th is the last day to apply. Applications are
available online just go to http://www.bishopfloresscholars.org. Schools and families will be
notified via email late March, or early April.

“BLACK & WHITE” GALA 2018: Spread the Word! We need your help to make Gala 2018 a great
success! There is just one more month until one of biggest events happens! Join us Saturday,
March 10th from 6:00 – 11:00 pm for dinner/dancing/live & silent action at the Four Points
Sheraton located at 8110 Aero Drive. Dinner tickets have gone home. If you RSVP by Tuesday,
February 20th you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE hotel room the evening of March
10th. This is a wonderful way to help support our school, and we need each of our families to
step up and make this happen.

GALA 2018 5K DRAWING: SELL, SELL, SELL: If each of our families reach out and support this
drawing our goal can become a reality. Our children benefit from our school facilities this
fundraiser provides. Also, students who help their families sell 10 tickets by February 23rd, will
receive a free dress day Monday, February 26th. The students from each class who sells the most
tickets will have a movie, pizza and popcorn in their classroom, and the highest seller may also
bring one friend from another grade to this afternoon party.

FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE: Coming soon! February 24th from 5:30 – 8:30 for the very special
Father/Daughter dance in the parish hall. Tickets are $25.00 per couple, $5.00 per extra sibling.
Admission includes dinner and two photo booth tickets for a 5 x 7 keepsake. Look for the flyer
coming home today with your daughter.

CATHOLIC SPORTS LEAGUE TRACK MEET: Mark your calendar….Catholic Sports League will hold
its annual track meet at Cathedral Catholic High School Saturday, March 10th for grades K
through 8th grade. Track meet will start at 8:30 am and end at 1:00 pm. Cost per athlete $10.00.
Registration forms are due to Mr. Fairchild no later than February 28th. Look for the forms coming
home today with your child.

RE-REGISTRATION 2018/2019: Registration forms are available on the school website for your
convenience. Just go to stcolumbaschool.org and download. If your registration form is
returned by March 16th, registration fees for returning students are $250.00 per child. After March
16th registration fee is $300.00 per child. When paying your registration fee you need to also
include the PTG fee of $200.00 per family. If you have any concerns, please contact Ms.
Navarro.
