I’m the indicated candidature because, I have the proper skills, motivations and human
values to take the best of this opportunity, also I accomplish the requirements that you are
asking for.
Since I was 12 years old I felt motivated about learning English, it wasn’t enough with my
classes in high school, I needed more. My native place, is a small town in south Colombia
where English is really limited, I didn’t have the economic resources to pay a course or so,
I had to start going further by internet, I found people to practice around some languages
pages, it was awesome, I really liked the language and I felt comfortable developing a
second tongue, also I studied Portuguese and German, Meanwhile I was getting thoughtful
about going abroad, since I was a child I learned to do things by myself, I’ve been interested
mainly in a country where I could speak the language I was fascinated, it was English.
being a child watching 90s American films, I got attracted for American culture, something I
really liked is about science there, NASA for me was like my inspiration, even when I looked
the sky of my little town, was great to see the space station over the starry sky, I knew that
a huge part of it, was American development, I felt excited about it, then I decided to study
engineering, I think all this fascination motivated me to learn and to know more about the
united states.
Not only because of the language, beyond all the cultural aspects that represents this
language around the world; I love culture stuff since my childhood, I’m overjoyed when I
exchange ideas, traditions, believes and more.
I’m glad when I share things like the place where I come from, how is to live here, how
beautiful is my country, how ancestral wisdom build our personalities, in the other hand it is
important for me to learn what the others could supply me, and how could I apply it into my
life, in this way build my knowledge with a universal structure.
I consider I’m person who is responsible and committed with what I’m doing, having always
learning as a goal of every chance, in this way I developed personal and social skills that
allowed me to become a cultural and social promoter in my place, taking it as a base I got
leader skills, and I’m pretty sure that the opportunity of being in USA will provide me more
abilities of communication, leadership, even my personal develop; so things that I will learn,
will be share to my community and then continue spreading social sense and cultural issues
with a global view that the opportunity provides.
I’m positive that I have the proper expertise to achieve the experience, and to do about this
a complete benefit of life.
