With the admittance of the freshman class, many adjust-

ments have been made by staff and students across cam-
pus to accommodate the super-sized class. One of the more
visible of these adjustments is in the Dining Hall.
Sophomore Laura McMillan said of the lunchtime
crowd, “They’re taking up my space in the nacho line. I
have to wait longer and I don’t like it!”
Jeremy Oshansky, director of resident dining said this
hopefully would not continue to be an everyday problem
for students.
“The lines will die down as freshmen begin to realize
that they don’t have to eat lunch at 12:00 [p.m.] everyday,”
Oshansky said.
Oshansky said in an effort to cut back on the lines, a
second check-in desk was added in the lower dining room
that allows students to swipe their IDs as they come in
through the side patio entrance.
Sophomore Christopher Keene is a student taking ad-
vantage of the side entrance.
“The other door helps because not everyone knows it’s
there,” Keene said.
