1.0. PURPOSE
This course is designed to familiarize the students in the Diploma in International
Shipping and Logistics with the core concepts of Logistics and Supply Chain
Management. The knowledge and understanding that they obtain will serve as
foundation to the other two Logistics courses that is Logistics and Supply Chain
Management I and II. It will also serve as entry level requirement into the Shipping,
Logistics and Distribution Industry.
