I am very please to provide a reference for Rachel Faires for any position within the field of social services,
specifically working with children and/or youth in a frontline position. I had the pleasure of supervising Rachel
when she was a placement student with our agency. Rachel’s main duties were working with children one-to-one
in a mentoring role in our programs within local elementary schools. In addition to this, Rachel worked in our
offices and had exposure to our case management processes, performing many administrative tasks.

When supervising Rachel, I was constantly impressed with Rachel’s work ethic, her positive attitude, and her
passion for helping young people. Rachel is an enthusiastic team player who is always willing to help, and always
focused on the mission of the organization she works with. Rachel’s performance in mentoring young people
shows that she has a strong grasp of cognitive behavioral therapeutic approaches to working with clients. This,
coupled with her sincere desire to help others would make Rachel a great addition to any staff team that works
with young people.
