•Selected to develop a presentation of Lisbon Community Schools’ acknowledgement system to
present at the 8th Annual Maine Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Conference (2017)
•Received training in using SWIS data system for schoolwide PBIS data-analysis (2017)
•Trained in using Roger Touchscreen and Pass-Around Mics for classroom use (2017)
•Participated in Western Maine Educational Collaborative’s “Math in a Customized Learning
World Seminar” to develop classroom procedures that support students learning in different ways
and in different time frames (2013)
•Completed Maine DOE’s Approved Mentor Training through the Lisbon School Department (2013)
•Attended the “Second Annual Lives in the Balance Conference” to further develop a student-
centered view on classroom management (2012)
•Participated in WMEC’s “K-5 Summer Math Academy” to study research-based forms of
instruction in math (2012)
•Selected to attend “A Consortium for Mass Customized Learning: Vision and Design” with Bea
McGarvey to support our school’s movement toward MCL (2012)
•Participated in University of Maine’s ERL 590: Effective Literacy Practices course to improve upon

Student Teaching Internship (2012-2013) as well as two Lewiston Regional
Technical Center students during their Education & Development of Children
practicum (2014-2015)
•Served as a Collaborative Problem Solving School Committee Member, receiving
weekly trainings with a trainer in Ross Greene’s Collaborative Problem Solving
approach (2012-2013)
•Drafted several DonorsChoose grants and received over $1100 in books and
classroom materials (2017 & 2015), $1,000 for stability balls (2014), and over $725
for a classroom LCD Projector (2011-2012)
•Class averaged 16 points in growth on Reading NWEAS (Fall 2012- Spring 2013)
•Incorporated: Common Core Curriculum Maps; Collaborative Problem Solving;
Responsive Classroom Approaches; Zones of Regulation; Everyday Math; Lucy
